Rented a house via them - it was very stressful. We were told the contract is for two years. Landlord was told the contract is a short notice one (he wanted to sell). Ended up signing two different copies, and on the day we moved in 'For sale' sign appeared and other agency called to collect a key for viewings - of course I refused.

This was escalated in their organization to their Managing Director, no-one offered an apology, they were just telling lie after lie after lie and tried to convince me to allow the viewings 'as the house will not sell anyways'.

Disgusting. Steer clear.

Wouldn't recommend this agency if you want to stay with peace of mind in your rented house. Haven't registered the Tenancy Deposit and hard to get it back. Many excuses as there is problem with bank account and tired of many white lies on the face as they transfered money to your account but you would never receive it. Extremely untrustworthy.

I had a very good service from madisons as a landlord and would recommend them strongly they provided a very efficient service to me.

has been collecting rent from my son's property and at one stage owed 3 months rent. he now owes two and i know that the tenant has paid. the member of staff dealing with the property lies and prevaricates. i am now putting it into the hands of the property ombudsman

Efficient service throughout with Madisons Estate Agents they offer extensive advertising, professional photos, virtual tours, floorplans, feature advertising in local press, internet exposure.

I wouldn't recommend Madisons Estate Agents. They may have a pretty decent image, but beneath that they're just useless!
