I do not recommend the agency Homefinders not professional,they are…unprofessional, ignorant, disorganised, in our case it started with the fact that we will live behind the wall with the owners,the agency did not tell us this from the beginning hides this fact.We found out when receiving the keys,there were no separate meters in the house.We loaded the electricity with the key at the owner at home.So far I wonder how it was possible to hide this fact.We had a problem with the refund of the deposit,the owner says that we destroyed the tiles in the kitchen, they were from the beginning we had evidence of it in the form of photos on the day of moving in.Later we did not get the full amount for the overpayment for Rent.The agency is so unprofessional that it did not even know that for 2 years,the transfer for the Rent was different day because we moved in much later than signing the contract,delays in moving in!from the agency side…I had emails evidence for everything…We rented from them a 2 years, we took care of the Flat it was rented to us in a terrible condition…dirty.I lost a lot of my energy writing with them,to get your own money back.My advice to everyone who has already rented an flat or house with this agency,take pictures of everything…keep emails with them,record movies before moving in and after moving out.Stay away from this agency.Good luck to all who have been cheated.

Good, professional estate agents. Always reply quickly to any issues I have faced. Highly recommend for landlords.

This is the worst housing and rental agency I have ever dealt with in my whole life. They are truely unprofessional, and if you can avoid them at any cost! I rented from them a whole year, and once I realised they are incompetent it was too late to get out of the contract. Before we moved into the flat, they promised that it would be painted, cleaned, and the disrepairs repaired. However, when we moved in none of this had been done and we were left with this rubbish. The whole year we repeatedly pointed out problems and disrepairs, but they did not do a thing. Then, after the year, they charged us for the disrepairs even the things were broken before! Unfortunately, because so many things were broken we did not have evidence of all of them, so they found a loophole to charge us. They are criminals, they are only interested in your money, and they don't give a thing about how you live or if you are a happy client.

Been with Homefinders for 17 years and have found them excellent to work with. Have 3 properties with them and fund them honest trustworthy and friendly especially Zahid He's a gem. Hayder the owner is very good and understanding. If you are a landlord I would highly recommend them.

Very dodgy company. My credit report is clean, yet they managed to find some fake CCJ from 2006 (I thought bad credit only lasted 6 years anyway)

When I checked with experian etc nothing was present

they basically lied to keep the holding deposit 

Not even to my worst enemy I would recommend this estate agency. They are bunch of idiots and a nightmare to work with. Not to mention that I never got my shower tap fixed for an year but even the microwave and dryer has been broken from last 9 months. The fridge was broken 2 months once and the boiler which even after health and safety issue is still broken. Upon giving the notice, Tricia from homefinders asked if she can come and show the room in my absence, I agreed and left the door open, when I reached home at 7pm my door was LOCKED!! After calling non stop on almost all the numbers, including their out of office emergency number (which does not work btw) I got hold of Tricia who refused to not only come but also said she can't pay for LockSmith to open the door, indirectly suggesting that I sleep in corridor until they can get it open tomorrow! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT!

Anyway, I paid £40 to locksmith and email their entire team including her manager  yesterday and to my surprise no one has replied back to me yet. Not only I emailed and messaged but also posted on their Twitter, Facebook etc.

The bunch of irresponsible people works there. They have no respect for people, all they care about is how we can suck more money out of tenants. BEFORE YOU SIGN UP WITH THEM SO CHECK WHAT THEIR CONTRACT SAYS APPARENTLY THERE IS A LEAVING FEE OF £85 WHICH THEY WOULD NEVER TELL YOU ABOUT!

I have just started renting one of their property's, so far it has been a disaster, just spent my first week in the house and have spent the whole week trying to contact them, to no avail,,,,the office has even been closed all week and the mobile number has been ignored!! The staff are unfriendly and unprofessional! I certainly would not use them to rent out a property I owned!

I really do not understand these people that found homefinders service anything put excellent. I was a tenant for 4 years until I brought my own house. Yes there were a few ups and downs but thats life and no one is perfect. I'd recommend homefinders to any one. Thank you to all the staff!

Homefinders (Oxford) provided the worst customer service I have ever encountered as a tenant.

It is extremely hard (if possible) to get a deposit back from them.
