Gascoigne Pees, Banstead, Surrey

This refers to the Cobham Branch. I must say that I found Gascoigne-Pees to be hopeless as I marketed my property with them and the details were incorrect when put on the internet. The description had many measurements incorrect and the property location was not even the correct town. I told them of these mistakes and the updated the details.

After the update, the details still remained incorrect as the property had now become 3 bedroom and not four as it is. Again, I phoned them and eventually this was put right. In a 3 month period I had only 2 viewings where both were on the same date. (strange to say the least where I have my suspicions about this). Anyway, the result here was that one person was not made aware that the property was on a main road. The other, was lead to believe that the property had a large garden.

The photographs were were very poor and there was also none that showed the kitchen where this is a feature of the house.

All in all. I could not recommend their services. I think that to get properties onto their books, they may suggest far higher prices than may be realistic.

Gascoigne pees Agency IS THE WORST EVER!!!!

From day one! We had an appoitments with 4 agents from different agencys but just from one Gascoigne Pees never show up. We were calling the office to find out if the agent is on the way and they were saying that she is. So we were waiting for 2,5 hours and she didn't show up even when we call 3 times.

We should know that signing a contract with them is something what we were not prepared for. They all are useless!!!

Everytime we phoned them to report something they never respond. We were without the window in the bedroom for 3 months uring the winter time.

Gascoigne Pees Cobham - appalling. Mis-managed in favour of tenant as knew her. Allowed to move furniture in before lease signed. Failed to take deposit, then couldnt get one! Says it all. But it did get worse! Utterly incompetant. Would give minus if possible

The Cobham branch of Gascoigne Pees has proved to be useless and rather suspect in dealings. They allowed access to the property after exchange had taken place but before completion without telling us. We had already said that no one was to be admitted (The property was empty as the tenants had moved out). The agent then said that work needed to be done to the boiler after the illegal access and before completion. We had already been told that the buyer was known to the agent and it seems as if they was workiing for him and not us, the sellers. The whole process has left a very unsatisfactory opinion of this company's ethics.

Have had nothing but greif with them from the day we moved in... could catalogue all their errors but havent really got the time. Main probs were - letters threatening legal action for overdue rent even when your rent is paid and up to date.

Tenancy contract breached as move in date kept getting put back. To date, have not received written docuement confirming out actual move in date and I have been living there for 5 months.

Constant requests to allow people into your home while you are out.

I recently puchased a property through this group's Banstead office and received a superb service. For me the estate agency experience can be varied to say the least but the person I dealt with was very good.
