Value For Money
Unprofessional And Untrustworthy Agent
I am a landloard who used this agent to rent out a property. Based on my personal experience, please avoid this agent at all costs.
1. Never passes rent on time.
2. Does not deposit the tenants deposit in TDS.
3. He feels that he is above law when it comes to following rules.
Just surprised that the agent is still operating In the market.
i totally agree - trying to get a group together to make the police take note - please email me.
thanks

Avoid At All Costs
Please steer clear of this agent. I have had a terrible time at least 10 phone wells chasing rent with every excuse under the sun and false promises. Usually gets paid 5-10 days late after relentless chasing. If you challenge him he is vile and abusive and very good at arguing and trying g to belittle you.
No inspection reports allowing tenants to trash your property
He even put new tenants in without telling me!
Take money out of your rent without telling you.
He never replies to emails so no paper trail
He has actually ruined my life for a year
Please steer clear at all costs
Am trying to form a group for the police / council to take note
please email me
he conned me out of 4500

Have Used Berkshire Property To Rent Out My Proper
Have used Berkshire Property to rent out my property I am completely dissatisfied with their service. They fail to :
1. Pass on rent on time each month.
2. Do not reply to phonecall messages left.
3. They do not give monthly rent statements(it's one of their tricks)
4. They haven't got a clue to what great customer service is all about.
5. They are rude and abrupt.
They could be the number one lettings company in the area if only they lost the attitude and start delivering what they are meant to i.e rent onto landlords. Shane, their lettings man is a crook and likes to hang on to money thats not his for as long as poss by avoiding total contact with his customers. He will get proper done over as a result of doing people out of money. He better watch out. I agree with all the other reviews on this site DOWN With Berkshire property Services. Go to Haart instead.

A Company To Be Avoided If At All Possible. Very
A company to be avoided if at all possible. Very good at coming up with excuses but always late in paying over the rent to the landlord. They have been known to lose a month's payment if you do not check up.

I Rented Out My House In Langley With Them...they
I rented out my house in Langley with them...they were late paying the rent due to me..charged for repairs not carried out..never forwarded mail, disorganised and bad mannered when challenged..a complete nightmare from start to finish.
Horiible Agency. As A Foreign Language Assistant,
Horiible agency. As a Foreign language assistant, me and 3 colleagues looked for a house in Slough where we were going to stay for a year. After many, many misunderstandings about the furniture in the house (the ad said furnished but when we visited it there was nothing, we refused to move in until the owner furnished the house, which took almost 3 weeks), we finally moved in. We had countless problems of miscommunication with Berkshire Property, dealing with a different person every time, who invariably asked for our number and promised to call us back (they never did, we always had to call them back ourselves), being hung up on, etc.We gave our monthly notice to the agency on the 30th of April, since we are all leaving the UK and going back to our countries on the 31st of May. We had our owner several times on the phone since, and the agency still hasn't told him we were leaving (we're the 14th of May!!) and didn't transfer our last 2 months rent (that we were paying every month on time since we had a standing order)To conclude, appalling "service".
I Guess I Am Not The First Or The Only One Who May
I guess I am not the first or the only one who may have faced such a situation, but I am emotionally hurt to the extent that I decided I would write this review.
My husband and I had been looking for a house for almost a year now and this was the perfect house for us. It had everything we could ask for and more. As soon as we viewed the property, we put in an offer through the agent - Berkshire Property Service in Slough. 2 weeks down the line, after some negotiation, we were called and told that our offer has been accepted. We were thrilled. I was so so happy.
But, that happiness had to be short lived. The Agency called back only a few hours later and told my husband that another buyer had bid higher and that we have lost the house. My husband was gobsmacked, and he did not know what to say. He was shocked. No phone calls to consult or let him know that someone else had bid higher. No one phoned to ask us if we would like to revisit our offer. Nothing.
This happened on a Friday, and both myself and my husband were so upset, that it took us the whole weekend to overcome the shock of finding our dream house, being on a high of achieving it and then whoosh, harshly thrown back into limbo. I really can't explain how horrible that feeling was!!
