Poor Income Returns And Heafty Early Exit Charges
I invested some money in a With Profit Income Bond in 2008 with Norwich Union (Now AVIVA). At first the income returns generated were very impressive and healthy but these were reduced year on year until now in 2012 the income generated is very poor. AVIVVA also apply heavy early exit charges if you chash in the bond early.
However all is not lost, I discovered you can switch funds with AVIVA. I have recently switched funds with AVIVA and the switch was free. Make sure if you decide to switch to check if any MVR's apply as this could cost you heavily. I am glad to have switched funds as the AVIVA With Profit Income Fund was not worth keeping in my case.
Next time I will likely not choose AVIVA as I have found their With Profits policy to be a huge dissappointment.
