Yorkshire Bank Mortgages

I Recently had a very bad experience in applying for a mortgage with Santander (over the phone). After seeing an advert for Yorkshire Bank's latest deal i decided to give them a go in the hope they were more friendly than the evil man at santander... they were!! The lady who processed my application over the phone was fantastic, so friendly and helpful and took the time to explain things to me. It was a totally different experience to santander's process and felt so good to get off the phone with a smile on my face instead of feeling stressed beyond belief.

I would recommend using Yorkshire Bank to any first time buyer. The process so far has been stress free and 100% better than my previous experience.

When I first moved to the UK I needed a mortgage and Yorkshire Bank were my eventual port of call. I've been with them ever since and as things stand, I haven't had my pad repossesed.

I think they're a good company - but just don't take my word for it - 'You're Mortgage Magazine' voted them 'Best Regional Lender' for 2004/05.
