I applied for a mortgage with this company and although the staff I dealt with were very helpful and friendly I feel greatly let down by this company.

I will point out that my application wasn't a straight forward one as I have additional property's etc and I fully take that on board however, my case was referred to their insurers who gave the ok on our application.

After approx 6 weeks of sending over all the documents and additional documents they requested we were told that they would be posting our offer to our solicitors only to then be called on the 11th hour to say a senior underwriter had look at it and wasn't happy to proceed.

Considering I told them all my circumstances from the off set I'm more than disappointed to be told my application fee is non refundable. I can understand the valuation portion of this to be non refundable but the application fee is ridiculous. as they have had £300 of my money for no reason.
