GE Money Everyday Loan

I had purchased a water heater from AAA service heating and plumbing. I was told that if I paid for the water heater within a year, then I wouldn't haven't any finance charges. well I went with the paperless statements to save trees and just received e-mails. They took a monthly fee directly from my checking account. At the end of the year in Dec. 2011, I had $135 balance which I didn't know. so I ended up paying for the entire finance charge for the water heater. The water heater was $1638 and the finance charge was over $700. It was Dec., the holidays and I wasn't paying close enough attention and got burned. Why couldn't I have just paid the finance charge for the remaining balance? I was told that's not how it works. I usually like dinner and movie when I get screwed.

We needed to borrow some money and GE money came up with the best rate at the time as we had to budget ourselves to what we could afford so we signed up only to find that once we had signed up, not long afterwards they stitched us up by putting their interest rates up by over 2.5% on top of the rate at what we borrowed, when the Bank of England interest rates came down. We are now paying an extortionate monthly repayment of over £400.00 per month and can not get out of it due to the fact that loan is secured. If you MISS A PAYMENT then LOOK OUT because you will be pestered by phone calls both night and day and are then are spoken to in a manner that you wouldn't believe, RUDE,THOUGHTLESS,IGNORANT,and HEARTLESS.

I lost my job and fell back on payments and the way I was spoken to was outrageous.I informed them of my situation and all they told me was that I owed them money and that they will put more charges on my account and run into more debt. Also their penalty and interest rates on late payments are rediculous and are extortionate, so beware !! PLEASE TAKE CARE and NEVER HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY, GE MONEY ARE BAD NEWS !!!
