I Have Started To Use This Company In November 200
I have started to use this company in November 2009 to clear my credit card debt off or at least most of it. However after all this time I am still no further to getting the case sorted. The 4 cheques that I wrote out to my credit card companies whic Guardian claim they need to receive the credit card agreements have not been cashed and I have had no update on my account, the person who was my local rep does not answer their phone anymore and messages left on voicemail are not returned. I have tried to get an update from thecredit issues website and this has been filled in 3 times, I only have had a receipt confirming my email has been sent but as yet no reply. I have contacted head office but I seem to be getting fobbed off and have now contacted bps law (there in house solicitors) i am still waiting fir a response after 2 days. All in all I would not recommend this company and if this matter is not sorted soon I will be going back to my credit card company to get a refund of the £306 which I paid upfront. I advise anyone thinking of trying to wipe out there credit card debt to do it yourselves, write your own letters and see what happens you have got nothing to lose, even if yuo don't know what you are doing, you can always book an appointment with one of these claims companies and then once you know all the details how it works fob them off! You use them, good luck.
I found this review very helpful because...I was with Guardian Debt Management up to the 12th August 2010 then I was informed it was to be administered by Chiltern Debt Management which I found a better Company to deal with,I paid £500.00 to Guardian on March last year which was like 2 months payment to my creditors to have all my credit cards and loan agreements checked by a team of solicitors for any mistakes or discrepancys.
In the last Month I have been Trying to Contact Guardian D.M. then on Monday this week when phoned I was Informed the Telephone number has been changed to 01912114120 and now Guardian D.M. is gone new company is today debt management hope this will help anyone else out there who had trouble with Guardian they are a bunch of cowboys.
thank you for writing a comment. I have just issued a court summons against paypal to try to get my money back as they would not honour there buyer protection as they claim services are not covered in the user agreement. Well under the goods and services act 1982 anyone who does not get the service they paid for can demand a refund. i.e. breach of contract as services were not supplied. I advise you to take either paypal to court or your credit card company. By the way Paypals address is 1, heron square richmond surrey tw9 1ej. The same as ebay. I will let you know the outcome off the case, you can contact me and I will give you some advice or anybody else that has been stung by guardian debt management or credit issues or in particular the paypal seller mathew bell.
thanks
I am having the same problem, £600 lighter and cannot get a response from either Guardian or Credit Issues. I have been told from the solicitors who are now dealing with it that they cannot clear my debt - as I thought!!!
If something is too good to be true it usually is!
Have you had anymore luck with these cowboys?
