Horrible Customer Service - Legal Scam Artists!!!!!
I made a huge mistake by purchase a piece of furniture from Rooms To Go through GE Capital. There are absolutely NO grace periods, and when they charge a late fee they do it in a sneeky way...Your bill will give you a minimum payment due, BUT! it will not include an entire late fee. The minimum payments only include a portion of the late fee so if you don't look into your account very carefully, if you only pay the minimum payment, you wind up only paying a portion of the late fee and every subsequent month carries a portion of a late fee, which in turns make you late every month for the minimum payment, which in turn causes another late fee to hit your account! They are legal scam artists! Stay away and avoid doing any business with them. I have had to call them every month since my purchase in September 2012 until I finally figured out how they suck more money out of you. Their customer service is very sneaky and lacks clear communication. They only care about the money and not keeping valued customers. This is why Rooms To Go offers interest-free financing. Because they only use GE Capital and because of tough economic times for most of us, they bet on late payment fees and their monthly rollover of late fees incorporated into the credit financing. And on top of it, they only allow one waiver of late fees per 12-month period. I have held credit all my life without any problems. GE Capital does not care about their customers!!!!!

I Took Out A Motor Loan With Ge Capital Car Loan A
I took out a motor loan with GE Capital Car Loan around 4 years ago. Not only did they take double payments in the first 2 months through their own mistakes but they also cannot produce the original agreement so that I can have a copy for my own records.
A really unhelpful organisation and I would definately not recommend.

We Bought A Car In Oct 03 From Citroen. Took Some
We bought a car in Oct 03 from Citroen. Took some finance with GE Capital Woodchester. By end of 04 had enough money to pay it off. One of their folk phoned us asking if we would like to extend loan or take new loan. Said No. Asked for settlement figure. Got one. Sent cheque. They got back in touch and asked for another hundred quid to settle it. We sent that. They wrote back and asked for another £90 to finalise settlement.

Shame these firms can not offer finance at proper dealers rather than big supermarkets or back street dealers.

All I Wanted From Ge Capital Woodchester Car Loans
All I wanted from GE Capital Woodchester car loans was a 'subject to settlement clearance' letter. I had to request this THREE times, in between which I got given a number to ring, which turned out to be the completely wrong department, and therefore I had to go back through to 'customer service' for the fourth conversation. I got told the account was in arrears when it wasn't, and I was told that I would receive the fax within 10 - 15 minutes when they had problems with their systems, and I later found out that I might have to wait anything up to 2 hours to receive it!
This is not good customer service, and I seriously doubt half of them know what they are doing at all! What I wanted was really simple, yet it took 3 phone calls and conversations with several people!?
