The Royal British Legion can not do enough for an ex serviceman/woman

I have had first hand experience of this on a few occasions over the years.

The one I am writing about is The Small Business Funding for Ex-serviceman/woman that they can provide.

After I contacted the regional office in Chorley,UK I was sent

forms to fill in and was handled like a king (queen if your a woman)

by the officer for the Chorley office,making a prompt appontment

for in a weeks time,giving me time to answer all the Royal British Legions Small Business applications which are I have to warn quite in depth

and require an amount of business acumen to answer.

The officer travelled out to Lancaster Town centre where I live

to my home address where he went through the forms in an informal

but professional manner after which he interviewed me and made me feel

supported and took my questions seriously as he did my business plans.

The outcome of which on my first application I was given the go ahead

for a £5000 loan on the proviso I could give proof of the outcome of my business incomings and outgoings whilst Test Trading for a given time.

This I went ahead with until I had a period of sickness (influenza)

that interfered with my business plans.

My praise goes out to The Royal British Legion for their support and understanding at that time particularly for the warm and friendly manner

of all the staff at Chorley,Ex-servicemans/woman Small Business Royal British Legion office.
