Interesting to have a review of a comparison website that doesn't offer any insurance. It's decent website that lists lots more companies than I ever knew offered pet insurance and it does go into a bit more detail and highlight some aspects of the cover offered, so it's a quick way of shortlisting some companies if you know what cover you want. However, there is no rating system for the insurers and it doesn't do a quoote comparison so it falls short of a really handy site. Still worth visiting but don't expect it to help you find a good company.

Then again, according to this review site, there aren't any good companies out there.

I found www.petinsurancecompare.co.uk after reading about it here. I decided to give it a try as I had just bought a new puppy. I found it easy to use and I was quickly able to make a choice about which insurance to buy. Unlike other websites that seem obsessed with the price of the premium this one shows the cover available and the benefits of the different policies. Like the other reviewer I thoroughly recommend it.

After losing our puppy (see review under Kennel Club Insurance) we were going to be very careful about where we went next. A friend gave us details of the website www.petinsurancecompare.co.uk It lists just about every provider of cat and dog insurer with a quick, at a glance, comparison and allows instant access to the insurer for more details.

In particular it showed the basic information about length of cover and showed what online discounts were available. It seems to be run by pet owners, rather than big business and it did exactly what it said on the tin!
