in regaurds to colins comment below you have to expect insurance's to rise inline with vets fee's, your pet being a year older ect ect. im afraid pet insurance doesnt come with a no claims bonus and therefore the risk increase of you making a claim needs to be made inline with how much your paying into the pot. remember insurance is a communial pot paid into by multiple people so when you do need to make a claim you can take a part of the pot. your insurance premium needs to fall in line with us. best piece of advice i can offer is read thoroughly through terms and conditions and speak to operators about everything to ensure your getting what you want. its down to you to ask questions there on the phone to do their job of selling
Reading through terms and conditions will have no connection to or bearing upon how your insurance is increased annually or on an insurance co. penalizing a loyal customer to gain new business by cheaper quotes. I have received a 21% increase from Direct Line this year ,we made a claim last year, although I don't know how much of the increase is due to the claim and how much is due to our dog being a year older. But how much is the nonsense of penalizing loyal customers costing insurance co.'s through customers switching to get cheaper policies. Simple economics, jobs are having limited or no increases which in the case of local govt. for example, no pay increase since 2006, means a pay cut since 2006. Where is the money going to come from? Although I still think our policy with Direct line represents good value for money I have found savings of over £80 so far, and while it is important to check you will get at least equivalent insurance this is a no brainer for most people.

I WAS WITH RIAS FOR 2 YEARS NEVER CLAIMED MOVED FROM PET PLAN BECAUSE PET PLAN GOT RATHER EXPENSIVE NOW I HAVE BEEN SENT THIS YEARS QUOTE 2011 AND HAS GONE FROM £12 per month to £25 per month total rip off as my dog is only 7 years old so beware this company is supposed to be for the over 50s insurance groups, i have also cancelled my car insurance because this also went up 10%. When i tried to get in touch to complain i got a take it or leave it attitude, *************YOU HAVE BE WARNED***********
