Insured bike with renwal came round thought would leave with them reminder arrived on day due to renew days later documents arrived nothing had changed with bikes so left until dicoveredred they had started taking payments early from bank. also added things to policey not requested ie RAC cover when complained told thats down to us when we take it as they had changed company so now 1 month paymanet ahead asked for payment schedule as not had one told don't do that (thought they had to by law) now sold both bikes phoned to cancel and charged fees and they owe me money Jokers WON'T BE GOING BACK TO THEM WHEN GET NEW BIKE. I agree with other comments very true and staff basically just say tough GOD KNOW WHAT THEY WOULD BE LIKE IF YOU HAD TO MAKE A CLAIM if you should in sure with them check it and double check everything

I insured with this company 1 year ago i stated alarm details for bike that the dealer gave me but less than a week later found out the honda had a far superior alarm fitted , they charged me £30 for this enhancement! refunded after i wrote and complained to there management, my renewal came recently which i ignored as i did not want to deal with them again , checked my bank statement today to find they had used my card to renew policy without permission , 4 days into policy they want to charge me £32 to cancel! complete and utter crooks, will quote you low but once they've got u watch out for the charges! the ryanair of insurers.

Unhelpful And A Waste Of Time
I was involved in an incident a couple of weeks ago, i wasn't directly involved but was forced off my motorbike as a result of someone else negligence. When i phoned dial direct to advise them of this and pursue it through all the correct channels (id already been to the police etc) they said that because i was 3rd party, fire and theft cover they couldn't help me, i should have been more careful when i was driving (although how exactly you avoid someone hitting someone else in front of you i don't know). They wouldn't chase it up with the other insurance company involved and couldn't even offer me any sort of legal advice. as a result i'm having to chase up my own claim with another company. Definately will not be sticking with them when my renewal comes up.

Completely, Utterly, Useless!
I'll be straight, I was a pretty satisfied customer, until I changed one of the two motorcycles on my policy with eight months left, to my absolute disgust, Dial Direct told me that the underwriters would not accept the changes and that I would have to cancel, at a cost of 58 pounds, and that a new policy would be over £230 (up from £130!) I found a policy locally for £140 and told Dial Direct to cancel and they said they would send me my NCD proof. I recieved a recorded delivery letter saying to return the certificates in the enclosed envelope, except there was no envelope enclosed. No sign either of the NCD proof. A call to the so called customer services yielded no progress, they refused to believe that they hadn't sent my NCD, which my present insurers are now asking for, I also have no idea how to pay the £58 cancellation fee. Customer services either know nothing, or are refusing to admit that something has went wrong. Either way, I am no further on and I wouldn't insure anything with these people again. Utter rubbish!
