I was recently approached by my Bentley dealership HR Owen to get a quote for the vehicle i purchased from them last year and they wanted to give me a a quote for my car which i currently hold with another broker, I was happy to do this.

A young lady there asked me to sign a document so they could obtain the information from my current brokers so they could provide me with a quote which again was fine.

I was then shocked to receive a phone call from current insurers advising me what i had actually signed was a Transfer of agency letter and in fact it was to transfer the policy to them which i did not agree to do and they completely mislead me into signing this document for there own gain which is borderline fraud!!!

If anyone is using these dealerships please be aware of what you are signing as they are very clever in how they present it to you.

Hence to say i stayed i stayed with my current broker!!
