I've had two problems with my house since I signed up for higos insurance.
I've found out to my horror that initially you are pleased as their prices are very good.only when you get a problem they fob you off and dont pay.
There are so many things that invalidate your policy. All normal stuff that other companies include. Please read the small print.
Higos Cancelled My Property And Contents Renewal W
Higos cancelled my property and contents renewal with the existing insurer, saying they could no longer offer terms with them, proposing instead a patchwork of providers, under an unknown umbrella name, at 20% price increase, for poorer cover. They gave less than 10 days' notice before the renewal was due. If I had been away from home my property would have been uninsured. Calling to ask why, I was told that Higos directors had decided to cease doing business with my previous insurer (one of the biggest in the market), preferring their home-grown product. Higos offered no alternative and no justification for the price increase and reduction in cover.
The existing insurer continues to offer the existing product despite Higos saying it was unavailable so I've renewed direct with the existing insurer for a much smaller increase.
Higos has lost my custom, the commission they earned on my business and my good opinion. As a 9-year customer of a high value product I expected better, much better.
This is a black platform, its very easy to make a deposite but ex-tra difficult to place a withdrawal, when big profits are made, please stay away and avoide it for your owm safty, i have had a great experience on this, i almost lost all of my life savings to them more than $300,000 but i was so lucky to reach out to an old time friend she gave me an addrress of which i made a report to the mail "jouanhopkins104 gmail com" i had to work with her and follow up all the due process. and all my life savings and my money were return into my account succesfully, i really recommend Joan C. Beware Terms And Conditions
My policy was set up by an agent over 8 years ago and I have been a loyal customer ever since. I have never made a claim and allowed my policy to renew, year on year. When it came to cancelling the policy however, Higos don't care how long you have been with them. Their fees for cancelling are astronomical!! The actual insurance provider was fair but when Higos had added on a cancellation fee of £50 and their loss of commission of nearly £25, it leaves a severe dent in the pocket. Staff just quote terms and conditions and don't take loyalty into consideration at all. Beware if you don't intend to sell your house at your insurance renewal date (for their convenience) as you will receive a nasty bill at the most inconvenient time. I will never use this company again.
Perfect Broker, Great Value
I have had my insurance since December last year and have nothing but praise to shout for this company. They advised which policy would best suit my needs and found it at a great value price.
They aren't the cheapest broker out there but who really wants cheap insurance, it's my home and I want someone to assure me I'm covered.
Just had my renewal and it's only gone up by a small amount and is still the perfect cover me.
I would and have recommended them to friends.
