Dont Use 24/7 /home Emetgency

i thought i was covered for every eventuality on 4 boilers, the first call in nearly a year and am told we dont cover it, i have unlimited parts and labour, sorry, £300.00 please for the part, i called them out for a repair and service but they say the part i called them out to repair was discovered on the service its not covered and the free service you have to pay £40.00 up front, just dont use them

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY LOW COST COVER, HORRIBLE SERVICE

247 may appear great bargain based on monthly cost cover. Just wait until you have an issue.

I paid for one of engineer visit £145 as it was not in my plan. They sent a wrong engineer, and then nothing.. Everyday I had to make 4-5 calls to follow up. Same answer " Someone will contact you".. nothing happened for 4 days. When I tried cancelling the contract, I was told I need to pay cancellation fee of £144 because engineer visit is pending!!

I could not believe my ears !!

UPDATE ON 7th Mar,18

No response from the complaint team as yet.

I got a call confirming engineer visit. No one showed up. Wasted another day...

Complaints team still has not provided a response!!

What a great customer Care... !! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Home Emergency Cover

On Sunday 14th Jan 18 we noticed that our Boiler has turned off and after checking the booklet and trying all the suggestions, were unable to have it work. So we called Home Protect explaining the problem and that, we have a sick person with Pneumonia and Asthma at home and they sent a subcontractor in a few hours time. He told us that the pressure pump has failed and needs to be changed and informed Home Protect. We have since contacted Home Protect more than 7 times and after 3 days they have not been able to contact their subcontractor whom apparently should send them a quote for the job??!! We can see that they sold us a product by mis-presentation, there is no way it could be called home emergency where after 3 days they still do not have a clue when our problem will be addressed and we are left with no heating what so ever in this freezing weather for 3 days till now. We have requested to talk to their manager or supervisor and every time were told neither are available??!!

We asked about the company policy with their sub-contractor and response time, they did not know it??!!

Warning Rogue Traders

I've had boiler breakdown cover since September, however when I made a claim on December 27/12/2017 because it was reported 2 days late as they are open on Christmas day I've had to pay £75 for an engineer to come out.

Now they want a further £85 to repair the boiler.

They are absurd I've had no heating for over 12 days.

They are rogue company whom do not honour the policy cover and will say anything to make money out of you.

Please Please any one looking at this review never decide to join this "FAKE" company 247 Home service..

Excellent Service

Took out the plan 3 months ago and made a claim today, the staff in the call centre are very helpful and even helped me in getting my water stopped, as it was pouring out from my toilet in to the kitchen below. The engineer was out within 30 minutes of me placing the call, luckily he only lived down the road from me, and replaced some thing on my toilet and the problem was resolved.

So glad I moved to these people they are so helpful, I would recommend them to anyone, money well spent in my eyes.
