Do Not Take Cover With This Company

They gave the best deal (around £1K so about £3/day) and said telematics would be installed within two weeks of cooling off period. Perfect.

Next is to install the telematics device, I simply said do not attend when I am on the school run, what did they do?

They attended on the school run and then blamed me for missing the appointment.

For a couple of weeks I was bombarded with emails and text about the telematics installation.

The same thing happened again and this time it was outside the cool-off period.

A few weeks later I received a letter that said the price was going up because of an undisclosed claim - the letter read like it was an increase of a couple of hundred pounds, in fact it was trying to say they are charging me another £1.4k.

(I hadn't realised that if a named driver that is not on the current insurance will still affect the policy)

£2.4k for insurance are you kidding me???????

I was totally fed up with this and had already been on the phone with them for an hour.

This time I phoned to cancel and they stated that its a £75 cancellation AND £150 telematics cost.

I stated that I haven't installed it - they said its non refundable?!?!?!?!?!?

For the 21 days already covered they charged me just over £300 (that works out to be £18/day) seriously how could they have jumped to that much from the original quote.

I escalated to the manager and clearly the manager had no customer relation skills and just repeated the phrase its in your terms and conditions around 10 times. I was fuming how can a customer sign up and then cancel and lose so much money - what cheats!

I will be escalating this to the financial ombudsman shortly, please avoid all of these cheats.

At beginning of my policy I stated I had an accident liability was disputed my NCB had been affected. My policy was £1600 and with Apr for paying monthly £1800. I asked what would happen when my NCB were reinstated once liability for accident had been sorted was told I would get the money back from the high premium I had been charged for having no NCB. I said OK took policy out. I have now been found not liable for accident and all my NCB reinstated. Contacted wise driving was on phone for 5 hours of this document is no good as proof we need this. Give them correct document after all there excuses and told that they owe me nothing. So there telling me that 0years NCB premium is £1600 and 4 years NCB and it's still £1600. As you'll know the more NCB cheaper the insurance. They just refuse to give me money back even though when taking my policy said they would. 5 hours on phone being passed around. 3 times asked to speak to a manager put on hold for 49 mins then another time 36mins then another time 20mins and all times my calls were disconnected.

I'm now having to do a letter of complaint to there complaints team and procedure witch could take 8 weeks. After that I'm going to take them to court and complain to financial ombudsman this is not right. Please do not use this company they really are robbers. Go elsewhere where your custom is valued.
