Taken out car insurance with this company on the basis for having the telematics box fitted to the car.

The telematics box should alert the company control centre if your car gets hit, you hit your car, your speed, what roads you travelled etc.

the thing is when my car got hit and the front end got smashed i got told by insure the box that the impact was not enough or the gps signal must of cut out at that time so no alert was sent.

i have cctv footage of the whole accident but when insure the box received a copy they lost it.

When they put the claim to their solicitors to take the claim to court but eventually after a long while i get told that there is not enough funds to carry on the case at the solicitors so it will be concluded as a50/50 accident.( disgraceful )

They have never sent an engineer out to check the telematics they installed, all they say is we remotely check it. BS

I would of liked to know the truth about the telematics box and i would not of taken the policy. WARNING to others, AVOID this company for insurance. I`m excess money out of pocket, NCD lost, & dissappointed.
