I phoned customer services & tried to add my son to my policy on a provisional license, they could not do it. I was transferred to the sales team who were a total nightmare, twice forgetting to call me back. They messed up my insurance leaving my son uninsured on the agreed date and when they eventually sorted the insurance two days later it had gone up by over £80 ! Obviously i complained to customer service and they lowered the price a bit as a good will gesture, the manager could not even be bothered to speak to me though.I then realize that they had been very sly and had removed my legal protection cover that I had asked for. . I have now re insured with another company (paid an extra £90) and have not even bothered to claim back my three months cover that is left on my existing policy with Insure. I have another car insured with Hastings (parent company of Insure) and will change that policy on renewal as well.

Dred to think what would happen if i tried to make a claim.

Placed my insurance with this company last year. Hastings was the cheapest but I read bad reviews so I chose Insure. Not until I received documents that I found out this company is also Hastings.

Due for renewal August the price has rocketed and they stated they would automatically renew and take the money from my credit card unless I contacted them to stop renewal.

This to me is tantamount to theft and you can guess that I got no sympathy when I called a premium number to complain.

Insure seemed a good deal when I first took out a policy through them. However when I could not find my insurance certificate and contacted them for a replacement copy I was told it would cost me £25. I think £25 for a bit of computer generated paper is really over the top. They may offer apparently cheap deals but beware of them
