Classic Dodgy Financial Website
Trading piggy-back on the excellent name enjoyed by Which? magazine this ebsite purports to offer independent financial advice by expats on a non-profit basis.
If you believe that I've got a bridge to sell you... most likely a large scale phishing operation, and well worth avoiding.
Helped Me Choose A Financial Advisor
i had just moved to the middle east when i realised i needed to sort out my pension.
i had a small pension back in the UK that i heard i could transfer offshore but i had no idea how to actually do it
Which Offshore had loads of helpful information and guidance and they ultimately recommended an IFA for me to speak to
im glad i had the help they were able to provide
Great Way To Prepare For Emigration
My company are transferring me to France for a 2 year secondment and I've found whichoffshore to be really useful
It's become my first point of call for research into the tax situation, how to set up an offshore bank account etc
There's also a really useful article on how to save money as an expat
Brilliant Useful Website If You're An Expat
I've lived abroad for over 25 years and to be honest after that long I thought I probably knew it all!
A friend of mine out me on to whichoffshore.com and I have to say there are lots of useful articles and little guides on all sorts of offshore related topics especially finance related
One suggestion I have would be to have more city guides as I enjoy reading about the expat lifestyle in other plAces so I can compare!
Great Advice And Info If You Want To Live Abroad
This a really good website if you are moving abroad and are looking for help and information to make things easier
They've got guides on finding international schools for your kids, sorting out health insurance and how best to save for retirement.
It also is good source of information on expat lifestyle
Worth a look if you're working and living offshore
Moving To Jakarta Made Easy
6 months ago I got what is really my dream job organising cultural events and exchanges on behalf of the French embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I had previously worked in Sao Paulo doing something simmilar and had found it quite difficult acclimatising to a new culture and way of doing things.
This time everything was made much easier by the help and information I found at Which Offshore. In particular I was able to work out how to make the most of being an expat in terms of my long term financial security.
Much recommended!!
Helped Me When I First Moved Abroad
When I told my friends that I had taken a job in Moscow everyone said that I would find adjusting to the new lifestyle really difficult. I have to say that despite my confidence, they were right!
However, Which Offshore really helped me. They've got loads of guides and information of the expat lifestyle especially the personal finance aspects of it.
It was also really useful that they could recommend a professional financial advisor that helped me in planning for my retirement in a country and financial system that I was unfammiliar with.
