Terrible Service
They wanted money upfront before they would do anything. Then they kept ringing me 5-6 times a day chasing me, they were worse than my creditors. I went to stepchange instead who didn't charge me anything.

Debt Management Plan
As a previous Reviewr pointed out, this is a paid for Debt Management Plan where Moneysolve take a percentage of the monthly payment.
I approached Moneysolve when i got into dificulties a few years back. From the outset they were both very helpful and professional, providing me with the best option to repay my debts. They did all the negotiating with my creditors and it was a great relief not to receive the phone calls and threatening letters from my creditors.
Moneysolve were able to negotiate with my creditors and all cases, interest on the balances was frozen. This meant that I was actually paying back less in one monthly payment than what I was previously paying.
As my circumstances changed, Moneysolve re-negotiated my payment plan with my creditors and also reviewed my financial status every 6 months.
Overall i was very satisfied with Moneysolve and the service they provided.

Premium Service From Moneysolve
Before I write this review, I want to point out that this is a paid service. It's not a free debt management service like others offer or claim to offer.
However I chose to take their services anyway because I've always felt that you get what you pay for. And in this case I was proven to be right.
I phoned up Moneysolve early in 2011 worried about spiralling debts from a lot of different providers. I had 4 credit cards, 2 loans and some other agreements that I just couldn't manage even on a reasonable income. It was completely my fault. Years of irresponsible borrowing, I suppose. I immediately felt comfortable on the phone. The lady I spoke to was professional and honest. She told me straight away that a DMP with Moneysolve would have fees associated. So they sent the relevant paperwork and I read through the terms.
After the negotiations with my creditors (carried out by Moneysolve) it still worked out that even with the fee, I was paying around about half of what I was previously paying and had the convenience of just one monthly payment. It's going to take years to finish off, of course, but at least I know that it's happening.
When my circumstances changed at the end of last year, Moneysolve responded by renegotiating my agreements as well, so they are responsive and friendly as well as approachable.
I know there are charities etc doing this as well, but I found it to be a service worth paying for. While I have no experience of using any other of the paid or free companies, I am more than happy to recommend moneysolve debt management for the level of service they've provided me with.

Good Help And Advice Even Though I Wasn't Suitable
I wanted to enter an informal debt management plan so I rang Moneysolve Debt Management as well as a few other companies who do similar programs. It turns out that I don't fit the criteria to be able to take out a debt management plan given the nature of my debts but nonetheless, the advisors were really hapy to guide and advise me on my situation.
Of all the companies I talked to, Moneysolve were the only ones who fully explained the situation I was in to me, who explained why I am not eligible and who gave me other information about other potential solutions. Other companies, as soon as they realised I wasn't eligible, had just brushed me off.
So even though I wasn't able to proceed with a debt management plan, I am really grateful for the advice and for the full explanation about my situation.
Thank you so much.
