After nearly 1 month I have waited and waited for my credit check to happen but clearly Check my file are too incompetent to organise this after constant emails to and from they orginised another check.. Still I didn't receive this....

they may think I have deleted the email from productseAU@......... but I have gone through all my emails all my deleted and all my junk mail... They my think I blocked the email in my junk mail....no I spent 30 minutes looking for that email in there too...

BTW don't expect a quick reply on emails as their really in the UK

Checkmyfile offers a great service, which is clear and easy to understand.

The information is accurate and the score they give is very useful.

They even give an indication of what the experian score is likely to be and, since i opened a free trial with them too, I can confirm that it too was accurate.

I was extremely pleased with the advice given since there were negative details on my report that were inaccurate and I was able to change them which improved my score.

Such a surprise to find how little time was involved in setting up this account, even more delighted not to spend the best part of three hours cancelling. I was so happy with the attitude of this company to It's customers it was with some regret that I had no need to continue the service.

So anyone out there who needs to keep an eye on your credit ratings, this company makes you feel like you are connected to real people. The information you need is all in one place and you don't have to navigate through several pages to find it. They are quick to respond to e-mail and their e-mail has a gentle, unpushy tone.

They really seem to want to make life simpler.

I used this to gather some information on my credit file , it was easy to use straight forward to registerer and also easy to cancel my membership no fuss , no telephone calls even had an email to confirm right away , I would recommend this site to anyone

This is a great way to go online and check your entire credit rating/score. Check My file looks at everything (as opposed to other sites like Experian) and gives you a complete overview and breakdown.

Site is clean and easy to use, it does what is says, lots of information to see where you need to improve your score, how to do this and lots of other useful tools. Help page is easy to navigate and HELPFUL.

You get 30-day free trial which is really helpful if you only need this as a one off tool for a mortgage application or something like that.

Would definitely recommend this site to friends and family.

My wife applied to transfer her account to another bank. They turned her down, saying that they had a problem with someone associated with her. We found Check My File on the list of such businesses and I completed their 30-day free check registration form for her - it was quite simple and fast to do so. The report came back very quickly too with an easy-to-understand summary showing the agencies checked and the detail supplied plus a full history. We found the offending name after a quick phone call directing us and asked for it to be removed: we heard to day that it was gone. Excellent and helpful service: I shan't hesitate to use them again.

I started using Check My file because I was worried about a debt I'd been paying off a while and wanted to make sure my score was all right for moving house.

The site checked Callcredit, Equifax and Experian for all the data, which revealed that some of them didn't have all the information of the others, which was surprising.

Check my file explained all the information and even busted the jargon. It was all very helpful and I recommended it to two friends who tried it out.

Additionally, there is a 30 day free trial, which is common, but cancelling it to avoid paying anything was logical and easy. No messing around with emails, calls or waiting for several working days. I was so impressed I actually wanted to write a review, which is uncommon.

The only thing I can think of as a downside was it didn't have an annual subscription, only monthly and quarterly options.

I have been waiting for a month to receive my file, which I required urgently, this service has been the worst of any online agency I have experienced to date, if it had been free, I would still be annoyed, but I paid $24 after being led to believe I could get direct access to my file, online, same day. False advertising, looking into how I can retrieve my cash. still not got the report from Veda, who I should have gone to directly. cannot believe that in this day and age this kind of rubbish still occurs. almost as bad as the sites that promise $1700 per week earnings online, about as likely! As for recommending the site, I would rather poke my eyes out with a sharp stick.

I signed up for this service, however on recently reviewing my credit status / recorded facilities I discovered they were out of date by 2 years. I cancelled my subscription (payment had just been taken for the month) and complained to the company and requested a refund if my latest payment, to which I received the following response

The information you see on checkmyfile is the very latest available from the three credit reference agencies we get the data from. It’s also exactly what lenders see (except lender names, which they are not permitted to view).

I’ll leave your existing credit report open and available for you to view online (there’s no extra charge for this), so you can refer back to it when you want.

As per there own data info related to 2012 and thus out of date - I checked another credit agency who had up to date info by approximately 1 month

They further advised that if I wanted to update the info I would have to pay for it ( as I said monthly payment had just been made!!!!)

I have allocated 1 star rating (I had no choice but to rate it) but that is being generous!!!

I have used some of more known companies but they only show me my rating with one company and charge 14.99.. This company charge 7.99 and provide all credit scores.

I was affected by drop in housing market and always look to see if my score has improved. This report told me when defaults would clear from my credit score .You get specific dates si it helps give you peace of mind knowing when your score will be good again

They give explanations and views of lenders on differents types of issues i.e. defaults, arrears

Definity will be my choice for future as this report helped answer all my questions and helped me see an end to all the worry.
