Placid Express, USA spotCash

As per the website it mentioned 1-3 days and instant transfer, but after clearing money from my bank it has been hold days and even after 5 days also still not credited into my recipients bank, when i called customer care they are telling that may be bank is holiday in India, but it is working day. and telling might be bank does not have instant transfer option, but my recipient bank has option..No proper consistent response from customer care. I'm lost trust on this company

It takes at least a week to deposit money in the the destination account. Please do not trust whatever mentioned in their website about sending money by 3 days. If you ask about delay they always complain about the fault of destination service. Customer service is too rude too. I am not recommending anyone to use this service.

I sent some money to my brother in the katmandu valley and the fee and rate was very reasonable. but when brother when to collect the money, the store said they could not find the order. but after calling their main office the funds were given right away.

make sure that the tracking number is correct. i got it on my mobile but for some reason my brother didnt.

Recently, I visited a travel agent to buy tickets for an upcoming trip to Bangladesh. the travel agent guy told me that i could also send money to Bangladesh with them. I do often send money but from another location near my place of business. i asked information about rates and fees and if my beneficiary can collect money in cash. He told me something about spotcash which I think i heard before but don't know which company.

so next time i was sending money i came to this travel agent and he offered me an exchange rate i thought was impossible. the only problem was to enjoy that rate my beneficiary had to collect funds from a particular bank but interestingly the guy told me the beneficiary can go anywhere but to enjoy the higher rate he would have to go that particular bank.

so i send money and i got sms right away. very nice service.

I always thought that money transfers can only be made through Western Union and Moneygram until I discovered spotCash! while attempting to read in my birth language of Bengali in local newspaper. So reluctantly, the next time I had to send money to my uncle in Bangladesh, I took a shot at Placid Express. Long time ago I thought all of those Western Union signs meant they were company branches but discovered soon after that they were 'agents' of Western Union. Interestingly, there were bunch of Placid Express agents near me although I didn't large Placid Express signs in any of them.

So, I went in to the nearest 'agent' and asked to complete a money transfer. I was asked what option would I like. Options, huh? I want to transfer money, thats all. Apparently, I had the option of using 'spotCash' which allows money to be picked up by my recipient from any authorized location and Bank Deposit which would allow me to transfer money to a bank account. Interesting. The agent sort of stressed that spotCash would be good because my beneficiary can collect from anywhere. I asked him, whats the big deal? With Western Union, my beneficiary can collect from anywhere too. Then he told me, the price is MUCH cheaper and I can get better rates.

Anyway, I paid 6.00 for the transfer and a receipt was given with all these different rates for what appeared to be the name of banks. With Western Union, I always got the same rate. With spotCash, I saw many options. This to me seemed like a good option. The more choices, the better! My uncle was able to collect the funds when it was morning in Bangladesh with no problem. He actually visited a location that provided the highest rate. I also got a text on my cell with tracking number info and so did my Uncle. What I didn't have a problem with but others might was the fact that I got a text message late night informing me that my uncle picked up the funds. Imagine if others had their text message ring tone on loud? That would be a little annoying.

Overall a good service. I just didnt know there was actually a cheaper option with the same reliability.

their service is really very good in malaysia, their spotCash and spotCash gold is known to almost all Bangladeshis living in kuala lumpur, selangor and perak, they should go other parts as well.
