I have used many money transfer services. WU charges too much and poor exchange rates. MoneyGram is better than WU. But for simplicity when HyperREMIT did direct withdraws from my bank account to complete the money transfers via SMS instruction all was great. However, now I have to bill pay to Hyperwallet and then once money has been transferred I can complete the transfer using SMS. Bank transfers to Philippines takes 24 Hours or less. Money pickup service takes 3 days and same for money delivery service right to the recipients door. I found at the beginning it takes longer during the trial period but once your past that you'll be happy.

Sent money to Philippines from Canada on a Wednesday. Debited from my account Friday. Got a call from my recipient the next week Wednesday and the money still has not arrived. Called the hyperremit and was told processing can take up to 5 days on the first 12 transaction. And to call back again tomorrow and then they'll do something about it. My brother used Xoom and recipient receives money an hour or two after they've taken your money. This company advertises 1 business day for cash pickup. I'd say false advertising. More like they wish they could, maybe after the 12th transaction they'll do it for you.

I just had a problem on my first remittance (took about more than 5 days) but the succeeding remittances just took 1 business day (bank transfer) and its just for $6 per remittance, not bad and I'm glad I can do it online unlike before where I have to go out.

I don't want to deal with HyperRemit again and I do not recommend anyone using their service.

Cons:

-Poor service. I spoke to 4 different agents who made me feel like I'm bothering them.

-Agents information are inconsistent.

-Hard to reach agents; Always on queue.

-My recipient waited 11 painfuly days for the money to be cashed out.

They said it will only take one business day for cash pick up..but it took 5 business days already until now my relative didnt have the money that i sent.and they already get the money from my account..what i hate about them is the costumer service..it will take you 1 hour before someone will answer your call..then that someone will not even listen to you..she keeps talking..and not accepting criticism..im very dissapointed..i' ll go back to moneygram..youcan get the money in seconds...Hyper Remit...listen to your costumers problems..before i forgot..m lhuillier doesn't recognize their name too..we need to wAit for a txt coming from china bank before you can pick up the money..and it will take 5 business days..Yes,they are cheap...but it's not worth it..:(

I am satisfied with the service I have received from Hyperremit so far. It is not as fast as Western Union though it can be if you set it up with your bank account and your receiver has a bank account. Otherwise it takes 1 business day and you have to consider also the time difference with Philippines, ie. if you send it on Wednesday in Canada it will get there in 1 business day Philippine time which would be Friday. The first time you send does take long, possibly longer than the 5 days they say. Every other time it works well. And the first time your receiver goes to MLhuilier or CLhuilier they may say they have never heard of it probably because it is first time they have done a transfer from HR. In my case the first time they told my receiver they did not know what it was when the money was not yet in the system. However, once the money had arrived they all of a sudden knew what it was and since then there has been no problem. Customer service is fine but sometimes hard to reach. I do everything online and with their cellphone service which works well. The most important thing is it is a reputable company not a scam. It is recognized by my major Canadian bank. If you can wait a bit longer than with WU, it is a lot cheaper. WU is better but too expensive. This is a good if slower alternative for a fair price. And if your receiver has a bank account and you set your bank account to allow HR to withdraw from your bank when you load your account it can be as fast as WU.

It's my first time to send money with HYPERREMIT but I would NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN forever, it's been 2 weeks when I send money to Philippines but they didn't get the money until today. They told me it will take 5 business day for them to get the money and when they went to C.Lhuillier she was told that they couldn't recognize the reference number. I would never recommend this service to all my friends!

I had tried to send money to the Philippines, and they said since this is the first time to send money, it will take 4 business days. So I waited until that day came and when the recipient went to get the money from M.Lhuiller, she was told that they were not affiliated with HyperRemit. She went to C.Lhuiller and was told the same thing. I wanted to find out what happened and found out my account has been locked. I could not sign in. I tried contacting customer service, and nobody picked up the phone. I emailed them and no reply came.

DO NOT JUST FALL FOR A NICE GREENISH(represents money) WEBSITE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND READ MANY REVIEWS BEFORE SENDING MONEY. DO NOT BE IMPATIENT , DO NOT RUSH.

Beware there are money remittance scammers out there!!! The key is to read people's reviews and make an educated guess which ones are fake and which ones are genuine reviews from customers.

I did just that and I got lucky in picking the right one for me . I suggest next time try hyperREMIT . com - Good professional service and not a s c a m m e r. I know coz I tried them and they're legit.
