Paid $85 for a sim card I could of got for free. Has just about ruined my move to the UK.

Maybe ok if you are moving to London but I was not.

this review is in regards to first contacts International money transfer.

The Service is fast and efficient. I have used it to transfer money from and to Australia and the UK. Exchange rate is fairly good and compared to the banks the fees are very low.

The process of transferring money from one account to a holding account can be a bit tricky so make sure to follow all the steps and double check your account numbers before confirming transactions. Perhaps the debit card method is a little simpler but the Internet transfer was easier for me and meant i could transfer a larger sum in one transaction.

Highly recommend this service as it has saved me a small fortune.

I have been very pleased with 1st contact in general, as well as 1st contact forex for our international money transfer. The personalised support via email has been excellent, and I've received quick responses with useful and friendly information provided. The only challenge we had was navigating the forex online services, as a new customer, it was a bit of trial and error in terms of knowing exactly what to do to transfer our money, but it was easily worked out with the assistance from support staff. Definitely would recommend it!

Using this service is an absolute piece of cake, always accurate and most importantly, timely. The staff are always responsive and answer questions immediately. You get notifications for every step and always transfers quicker than stipulated. I permanently moved to the UK from Australia and will always need to be transferring back and forth, and I wouldn't use any other service.
