Fraudulent Company That Wants To Hold On To Your Money

I made a transfer from my business account of the amount of £300 to my bread card but it didn't show up on the account then I made a call to customer service and they told me that I need to show proof of payment which I did by email . they decided to state that they could not discus any information regards to my account. I found the manager for bread to be very rude treating me like a criminal. please please don't apply for bread its a small company with no knowledge on how to deal with banking. 0 star

Breadcard .... No Problems .

had a breadcard for two years now . use it a lot . not experiences any problems . ok there is a fee ten pounds but card valid for two years and a small percentage of purchases , but i think a good service for the price , free to load at the post office and maybe other places . i check balance online and never a problem . all these companies are there to make money , bread no different ... but i think for the cost , bread is great ..

Should I Be Concerned

Today secondary card holder tried to withdraw cash abroad from usual ATM. Message 'Service not provided'. Now Safari cannot find the server 'Breadcard.com'. OK - It IS a bank holiday, and no-one is manning their Customer Service phone line, but is anyone else having a problem?

Bread Charges Whatever You Do With You're Card!

I wouldn't bother with Bread. You have to pay to load it and pay to use it and pay to withdraw cash. I'm surprised it doesn't cost you to just remove it from your wallet!

The only reason I have given them two stars is because it is accepted anywhere I have used it, be it online, in shops and cash points and as age verification I.D on the internet.

I have uploaded a picture of my statement so you can see how the £620 bill I paid cost me £33.77 in fee's!

The reason there are two card loads of £500 and £200 is because you can only top up £500 in one transaction.

Applied For A Bread Pre-pay Debit Card. I Was Aske

Applied for a Bread pre-pay debit card. I was asked to pay via text, paid £10.00 then received email to say that I have not been accepted...and could only have money returned by cheque within 14 days,

As I do not have a bank account, cheque useless. I contacted bread via email and they were no help at all. They would not tell me why I had not been accepted, for what ever reason I do not know.

I Tried To Use The Bread Card For An On-line Trans

I tried to use the Bread card for an on-line transaction but the money to be transferred simply disappeared. I haven't had any help from customer services despite umpteen e-mails. Also, my password to their web site doesn't work although that is the one I chose.

Dont Get One, I Tried But They Lost My Order After

Dont get one, I tried but they lost my order after paying them 10 pounds, 80 pence a minute to call them, it would cost me more than the 10 pounds I sent them to get my money back in phone calls, they never answered my emails, i now have a Virgin card, got it in 4 days flat, 3 pence in the pound to use, no monthly charge, and no top up fee if you pay by eMoney and use the net to type the voucher number, I told them to keep my money and buy a virgin card, dont get one unless you want to lose all your money,,,have a nice day, beneboy, Devon

I Have Had Nothing But Trouble With The Bread Card

I have had nothing but trouble with the BREAD card.

When the card arrived it simply did not work - i.e. the PayPoint loading machines could not read it, nor could ATMS. I repeatedly tried to write to the site, but have received no response. The 80 pence a minute call line is a disaster.

If Your Thinking Of Getting A Bread Card ..... Don

If your thinking of getting a Bread card ..... DONT.

I`m still waiting for my pin number despite 4 emails [& a 2 week wait] to their customer service team. Ive had 1 reply advising me to ring their help line , they charge a whopping 80 pence a minute, they advertise both email & phone customer sevice help on their web site but in my experience the email option just tries to steer you to phoning them.

I have`nt been able to use the card & i would`t recommend this pre paid debit card.
