I Have Recently Received An Appalling "your Intere
I have recently received an appalling "your interest rate is increasing" letter where it is stated that my new interest rate will be 25.95% whereas on bank's website 15.9% (variable) is advertised.

I Had A Platinum Mastercard. The Ststements Stoppe
I had a platinum mastercard. the ststements stopped in February and I have had none since. There were outstanding amounts to pay off, I tried to sort it out by ringing them up (call centre in guess where) now the bunch of clowns or crooks in India (known as "Collections") are taking increasing amounts from my current account. I have always paid off my credit card in full and this is how I get treated. Time to change current accounts.

Lloyds Tsb Platinum Card Was A Good Option In The
Lloyds TSB Platinum Card was a good option in the past - but be careful about borrowing on this card as Lloyds now seem to be hiking interest rates. Customer service used to be quite good, but is now dreadful, if things have gone wrong enough to cause a complaint.Beware interest rate switches on this card! Lloyds have just upped my APR by 5% or so on this card without any reason being supplied. It's a real slap in the face for being a loyal customer for many years - and having had no great reason to complain previously. Lloyds Bank now have an appallingly bad complaints procedure - customers service is open 24 hours, but would not discuss my complaint, only forward it on; and the "Customer Service Recovery" department, where the complaint was sent to is only open Mon-Fri 9-5 - tricky to contact for those of us who work those hours - and won't discuss complaints either! They do claim to "investigate" them however. In my case the "investigation" took less than a day; and the resulting letter (which unsurprisingly found in favour of the bank) had all the appearance of a cut-and-paste from a stock reply drafted by someone in marketing. Very disappointing.I would have previously recommended Lloyds TSB in the past as a credit-card supplier, but not now.
They Switched My Platinum Card To One Of These Mas
They switched my platinum card to one of these Mastercard duo cards, which I didn't receive as I was moving house at the time, but didn't really need to use it at the time. I found out how to pay the transferred balance on my internet banking then it had dissapeared. I phoned and asked them and they apologised saying it was their fault and they had cancelled it as I hadn't used it. They only way to get it back was to reapply. When I did it was declined. I have a business account, platinum account, savings account, and did have a credit card account - my salary is more than the all staff in a medium sized branch put together. I've been with this bank since I was 6 - they've got to be kidding me...if my rating is bad, then its because of them!!!! very upset!!

These Days, Lloyds Tsb Is Appalling. It Has
These days, Lloyds TSB is appalling.
It has just tried to force its customers to take an Amex card and to switch from Visa to Mastercard. It then cancelled my Visa card (expiry date 10/08), but did so without telling me, so that I had the embarrassment of having the card refused. This after 10 years as a very responsible user who has spent a great deal of money on their card.
Their recorded service when a card gets blocked for security reasons is a disgrace. It gives you an utterly garbled version of your recent transactions: described Glyndebourne Opera as a costume hire shop in (sic) Lews.
Payment is messy - I was never able to pay by phone and had to take a cheque to a branch every month.
I would strongly warn anyone against getting involved with this badly managed card - I now feel I'm well shot of it.
I Have Just Received A Letter From Lloyds Tsb Stat
I have just received a letter from Lloyds TSB stating that they are increasing the rate on my Platinum credit card from 14.88% to 26.9%, which they are allowed to do under section 17 of the small print.

The Credit Card Protection Insurance Is A Rip Off,
The credit card protection insurance is a rip off, but to be fair Lloyds TSB didn't push it. I chose to take it as I had started a new job due to redundancy, and that experience made me financially nervous. Now I'm in an even better job I'd like to cancel this pointless insurance, because if you read the small print it only covers the minimum monthly payment.
I agree. Also did you know if you are out of work for any reason and claim Social Security they class the insurance payout as income, so it will get knocked off your dole and go straight to the lender.
When I was temporarily out of work for six weeks I found this out. I don't know about you lot but when I'm skint, food and shelter comes first, debts can wait for their cash.
you will find lloyds are pushing this product more and more now. we are now targeted on sales in all call centres and are required to pass off calls to a sales department. This of course is very badly mannaged, and you will find the cover is anything but comprehensive.

I Applied For The Lloyds Tsb Platinum Credit Card
I applied for the Lloyds TSB Platinum credit card a month ago, and it has still not arrived. Everything seems to be done at a snails pace with Lloyds! when I call them they say it takes a week to do this, another week to print this and another week to post something else. With other companies in the past the card usually arrived within a week maximum.
