The balance transfer offer is excellent, however, be prepared for a problem if you phone customer service.

Although they are very polite their knowledge is not great, you cannot speak to a supervisor if you are having trouble being understood and you are left with no other option than to email Barclays. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told 'it is not possible, sorry'. I had real difficulty being understood and had to go through the whole process twice because they just didn't know what I was asking.

A real disappointment for such a well known company.

Great for the offer, but not if you have a problem with your balance transfer, due to their sytem not recognising another bank card. They have not heard of 'manual transfers'.

Interest rate not excessive and great balance transfer rate of 6.9% for Life. Excellent.
