Bank of China Credit Card

Bank of China: With a $12 annual fee, this card is one of the best annual fee based cards on the market. Customer service is good as is their loyalty program. The main drawbacks are that in the application and approval process they treat every applicant, including long-time Bank of China customers, with the highest suspicions. Application to change your card from standard to gold requires cancellation of the standard card and submission of a new application which, more often than not, entails them completely ignoring your credit history with them when approving the terms and conditions of the new application.

Further, Bank of China branch personnel are often slow, rude and just plain lazy so expect considerable waits if paying your monthly bill in person at a branch.
