Considering that a Recruitment Comapanys only source of income

is what they charge on top of a Consultants Hourly/Daily Rate

you would think they would treat their consultants a little better

Had one phone call from them i started the Contract and nothing else since then

Applied for 6 positions now via Jobserve and directly on their Web site

Not one response or Email from them

Perhaps they are just Harvesting CVs

Rate them 2/10

Overall they are okay, had some issues with payment dates but they did get the contract right and have found me various positions within Ericsson. I have to chase updates sometimes but most companies are like that. I would say it depend on your rep at Projectpeople, once you find stick with them and go through them for everything.

One of the worst agencies I've ever used... the client was taking a long time to process my references etc and it was I, not the agency, that kept on top of them to speed things along. Whenever I phoned the agency, I was told there was nothing they could do and there was no new information. When I phoned the client directly, they gave me lots of new information and indicated what I could do to help the process along. Why couldn't the agency have done this? They're simply couldn't be bothered!

When it comes to paying you, they hold on to the money from the client for a full 14 days before they'll initiate the transfer to your account. It's not very nice when other agencies placing contractors with the same client are paying after 2 days.

If you can avoid using Project People, I'd highly recommend you do avoid them.

I found Project People incredibly helpful, and they supported me in all aspects of my job very well. My contact stayed in touch regularly and addressed all issues I had with my employer in a timely and satisfactory manner. Would definitely use them again.

I have used Project People and found them very helpful. They are fast at finding a position and certainly know what they are talking about. I would recommend then to anyone seeking a new contracting position.
