Awful Company
Can't comment on any other branch except Derby branch, I was laid off via text message first day back after xmas!!! Gave them a chance again I had some personal problems and was told "don't worry I will put couple of day's holidays in for you so your not short" guess what no holiday pay!! Avoid at all cost is my advise !! Especially the Derby branch, all communication done via texts, shambles of a company!!!
These are advertising for Ex Forces Class 1 drivers throughtout Army Reserve Centres, are you saying not to approach this company for work then?
Really Struggling With Them
I'm really struggling with this agency right now. I became unemployed 4 months ago so went into the agency and signed up, they wouldn't consider me for anything permanent as they were desperate to fill temporary positions. However I explained 3 times that I don't drive, yet every call I got was too far to travel. I don't even live in the middle of nowhere! I gave the job hunt a break to enjoy Christmas and then started looking again.. well off we go again same thing again even though I was only applying for permanent roles. I get a call about a permanent role eventually after applying for 6 online and so she said she would send my CV across.. 2 weeks later I get a call about a temporary role that's too far to travel... I ask about the permanent role and they only sent my CV across 3 days ago. They wanted me to go in and resign up with them but I had an interview today and tomorrow morning so told me they wouldn't be able to put me forwards for a role again until I go in so I suggested tomorrow afternoon and got told that would be too late?? I don't even get what she meant... too late for what? Are there never going to be jobs again? I had to bite my tongue because I could have been so rude back but I wasn't.

Never contact to this recruitment agency , is one if the worst company I have ever seen.
I did an interview with a company throug them and I was waiting 2 weeks and half for some response while sending 2 emails to know my feedback. Casualty or not at third email I wrote they get back to me saying the company is interested in me and will pay the maximum salary! ( quite surprise for me as I just had 6 months of experience in the field) With happiness I resigned from my currently position in that moment. One the day came I went to work and the director asked: are you temp? Me: temp? Yes temporary! Immediately I called the agency as the promised me I was going to be 2 months with them and became permanent . The company was surprised as they just want someone temporary based in 2 months! Therefore I decided to don't go to work and they called me asking why I replied until you don't clarify me my employment contract I will not go. After 3 days I am still waiting , what can I do? I am unemployed now!
I Have Never Been Dealt With In Such A Rude And Co
I have never been dealt with in such a rude and condescending manner in all my life as the way the care recruitment consultant at Cream Recruit dealt with me. I would highly advise anyone wishing to get work through an agency to steer well clear of this one. They rip you off for expensive sign up costs then bully you into taking shifts you've said you can't do on your days off. I was sworn at and shouted at purely as I turned down a day shift! What an awful experience.

Pertemps Cream Recruitment is rubbish. Promised hour rate, actually it is less. Was no chance check it, didn't send me any payslips. For 14 hours overtime paid 50 quid more. Don't trust them, requested receiving payslis, but stll nothing.
I found this review very helpful because...I feel the same way. I have worked for Cream and got ripped of 12-15 quid a week as they can't be bothered to pay you themselves. I was messed around and they 'forgot' to pay me one week even though my timesheet was with them on time.........they give agencies a bad name!
Don't Waste Half A Day Going To Register At Pertem
Don't waste half a day going to register at Pertemps Cream Recruitment. It's better spent going to the job centre.
Don't fret - Pertemps Head Office are just as bad.
They are looking currently for a programmer in Foxpro to replace someone who is going on maternity leave for about a year or so. Clearly they do not know what they are looking for or hire extremely bad agencies, most of which are extremely unprofessional
Now more than 10 years ago I was interviewed by their head office, for the same position, which is a very rare skill indeed but one that I am extremely good at.
In fact whenever there is a position with this particular skill, I am bombarded by no good agencies, who are just in for a quick buck and nothing else.
I received a phone call from their head office today, after mentioning this fact to them last week, thinking that surely the same people cannot be there now after all this time. I cannot even remmeber the name of the person who interviewed me, so I doubt very much that he can remember me.
Now can someone tell me honestly how after more than ten years they can remember a particular interviewee and what was said at the time - very very dubious indeed.
I know damn well I could do the job required but they're not interested in that at all.
Bunch of jokers just like the rest and I don't care how many horse races they sponsor either
