Within hours of applying for a job through these guys, I received multiple sales calls from third-party companies, given that I've just recently finished a contract and the only other contract I've applied for since is through a reputable agency coupled with the reviews I've read here I suspect my contact details are being sold on by this company

Marcus Donald has been advertising and continue to advertise information security roles... When you apply they either do not reply or call to ask about your IT department and the people in it.

These guys are a joke. they certainly play on the vulnerability of job seekers, wasting their times with empty promises of work. I would not touch them with a barge pole.

I experienced this agency when I applied for and secured 1st and 2nd stage interviews with a client. I was led to believe that both interviews were successful. Then I heard...............nothing. I contacted them and was told that the role had been withdrawn by the user. 12 months later the role appears again but this time they are not using anyone they have used before regardless of whether they were successful or NOT

I have been very happy with the service of this company. They are very honest and nice, at least their SAP consultants. Their knowledge of SAP is impressive when compared to many other recruitment agencies. Their consultant-Karolina spent a lot of time with me discussing my options and what I am looking for. They work with very good clients with great budget. I am always saying to my colleagues to use this company first.

They place a candidate with our company, the company ends his contract as the candidate was terrible, Marcus Donald try to re-sell the same candidate to another one of our departments stating his last employer would recommend him. That's a lie - we were his last employer.

Based on both mine and my colleagues experiences, this agency wastes candidates time by applying sneaky methods in gaining contact details of their Company's IT department to build gain business contacts for free. One method they use is as follows: This agency advertises a supposedly “live” role. The candidate then applies for the role in good faith only to find out that the agent has only been interested gathering data and building a profile on a company's IT systems as well as the contact details of the head of IT. As a result instead of the agency representing the candidate for the advertised role or similar ones, the candidate's line manager or the their Head of IT is contacted by this agency with the view of refilling their position or other ones. There is a potential that the agency then gains in at least two ways: i) They have gained valuable business and/or IT systems information from the candidate for free and ii)Possibly gain fees by introducing new candidates to the client. The candidate is then not contacted and gains nothing as their CV isn't put forward for any roles and their precious time is wasted.
