Terrible Experience
I have never written a review before and do not intend to, but I had to share - I would firmly recommend never use Hudson - not only do they have absolutely no manners, they are unable to remember simple information, rude and completely inappropriate. I am not sure how they can claim to be a talent solution specialist when they decide within three seconds they have no time to speak due to the fact it is nearing their lunch or home time.
I honestly have never been spoken to by both Scottish offices in this manner before, no service, no help and complete lack of respect in addition to no skill or understanding of what they are talking about. Thankfully there are plenty of other experts out there who know what they are doing - I think the recruitment process for Hudson needs to be a bit firmer to weed out the calibre of people they are employing- total joke.
Horrible And Incompetent!!!
Absolut nightmare! People are incompetent, do not know anything. When you ask them questions they send you somewhere else to find out. Impossible to get anything sorted. The company I work for now has stopped using them for further recruitment.
Please do not use them!
Shocking Service
They do not bother to call you back when promised, they do not do what is asked of them (send over job description), they lie when confronted about their service.
Just a truly terrible company, I started to doubt myself and my abilities as I was making no progress at all. I then applied for a job directly instead of using Hudson and have now got a new job. I would recommend anyone but these guys.
Find another agency or do it yourself because you will get a job whilst this shower sit around on their hands.
Waste Of Time
Absolutely shocking experience. The company that I now work for use Hudson to do their recruitment process and I have never experienced such shoddy service in my life.
They lose documents you send them, have several people call you hours apart to request information that you sent as soon as the first person asked for it, magically find emails that were sent when you get snotty with them about it, will act like everything is fine then the day before you're due to start come out with a list of things that it would be impossible to provide in such a short time frame (30mins before they close). Thankfully I had the sense to contact the company I work for who confirmed I could bring the documents when I started instead of having to provide things instantly that were years old so hidden away.
Absolute nightmare of a company and would not go through them again. Also, their premium rate phone number is highly convenient when they call off an anonymous number to start with so most people wait for the voicemail and then have to call back.
I could go on all day about how stressful this experience has been but suffice to say- if Hudson are the recruitment agents for a job you want... Don't waste your time.
Awful Company
I applied for a job via Hudson and got through the interview stage mainly due to my impressive CV. Sadly I was unsuccessful but that's not a problem.
What is a problem when you want feedback and they never call you back or take your call. They have not even told me whether i got the job or not but having seen it readvertised i get my answer. I just want some interview feedback but it seems when you get rejected for a job they don't want to know you.
Hudson (dublin) - Horrible Experience
To say the least, I had a horrible experience with Hudson (Dublin, Ireland). I spent a lot of time with them, accepted an offer, only to be told not to report to work the day before my start date. That's just one of the issues I had with Hudson Global Resources (Dublin). Out looking for work again..
Total Bs
tried to use hudson for a job got offered it but the hudson consultant was so pushy and wouldnt even find out my qns that i wanted yet I answered all of theirs - This is the worst IT agency I have ever used.
To summarise the agent at hudson will say any BS to get you to agree. In the end i didnt take the contract mainly due to the sheer rudeness and BS that the hudson agents came out with.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I Have Dealt With A Number Of Recruitment Companie
I have dealt with a number of recruitment companies over my years of employment, am I am glad to say that not all of them are as useless as Hudson. It seems as though they modify job descriptions as they go along. Really agressive when you start questioning them. So I was very pleased to inform them not to represent me! In todays day and age we are desperate to get a job, but I refuse to be treated like an idiot and lowering myself for these bunch of cowboys. You have been warned, avoid at all costs!!!
I Used Hudsons From Feb 2011 And Iwould Certainly
I used Hudsons from Feb 2011 and Iwould certainly not use them again. They sent me for a job and on the 3RD interview for the same vacancy the job description has dramatically changed and the consultant, Vikki Worsley, said that she would look into this. It is now a month later and I have heard nothig from her whatsoever! Avoid at all costs!
I'm Joining The Group That Regrets You Can't Give
I'm joining the group that regrets you can't give negative stars. They would get -5 from me.
I'm doing a accountancy contract through their Leeds branch and feel like a person who was sold (pushed into) a full Sky HD package without having a TV at all.
In my case it was not a recruitment, it was a pure sale. They are very pushy and confuse you with the rate. You really need to ask whether the rate is with the holiday allowance or not. When I mentioned that on the contract the basic rate is lower than my expectations I was told that it's what I told them would be fine for me but only if I don't take any holidays.
Other people who work with me through Hudson have the same bad opinion. Shame the employer is loosing as, due to low agency staff morale, they are not getting fully what they pay for.
