When they offered me a contract to work abroad I wasn't allowed to bill from my limited company, but in stead they forced me to use an accountant which they provided. I spoke to this accountant on the phone and he was proposing all kinds of dodgy tax evasing exercises. I checked the register of chartered accountants and he wasn't on it. Googling the accountants name, I found out that this perosn was arrested in South Africa by the serious economical fraud office for a major multi million pound fraud and fled to the UK some 10 years ago from where he couldn't get extradited because of poor health. Well 10 years later he didn't sound very sick at all when I spoke to him.

I refused the contract Glotel put me on thei Do Not Use list. I told Glotel about what I found out and they didn't really care at all.
