I was headhunted by an Ellis Fairbank consultant for a senior Client Services position in another Ad agency. I would recommend the service, as although I was not interested in this role, the consultant took on-board what I had to say regarding where I wanted to take my career, and then came back to me a month later to introduce me to the super agency where I now work. Through this consultancy we have since recruited another more junior individual for my team, and we are half way through the process with another.

I applied for a role via a internet job site for the Ellis Fairbank recruitment agency, and then followed up with the recruiter who did not recollect my details and would phone back. At least the recruiter phoned, but only just to say that they did not know why I was called, and just was not interested in having a dialogue, despite the fact I had rung them regarding an advertised role.
