Completed two weeks worth of temp work and expected payment shortly. Received belated first payment a month after finishing the role, this following several attempts at contacting the "company" where each time I was assured payment would be made the following week. Three months on I have yet to receive payment for my second week of work and now as of writing the business website is offline and the company phone line appears to be dead.

You need to move quickly, you can file online.
You need to file against him in the employment tribunal for your unpaid money. I can guarantee you this is the only way you will see your money. I did and he didn't even bother to show up, but I got my money.
Then speak to companies house to object to the strike off.

They have put an application to strike off ie closing. There are certain conditions of this and if your are owed money he cannot do this.

You won't get your money if he's allowed to strike off. He'll start up in another name and continue.
Got Letted Down With Payments Aswell
Would never recommend them, never got any payslips, salary was allmoust all the time late, got to contact people they are working for, after writing on their and their clients walls on facebook, making storms at work place finally got paid. Hopefully never hear them again.
Do Not Work For These People.
I worked for a month for these idiots, paid ok until after my final week.
Constant e-mails, telephone conversations, from me, still no pay. Also requested payslips, did not receive.
All I got was worthless excuses, that was when they even bothered to reply.
Was going to consider small claims court, but the weeks work was only 8 hrs at min wage so did not bother.
Many months later still waiting payment, or honest answers.
Maybe I should visit the office and refuse leaving until paid.
I would have rated as zero stars but not given that option.
AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
Let me know if you would like help with this. I'm a law student with distain for employers who take the mick. I do believe Russell isn't with efr now, he's with g8. Pulling the same stunts no doubt. Bare in mind the three month time limit for et claims!

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. Take Good old Russell to the employment tribunal for your payslip and any money you have lost in benefits, I did and he paid up!!!regardless of how much it is DO IT!

Applied for a job with these clowns. I was told the job would be for two weeks. Turned out to be 4 days.
Pay day comes around and surprise surprise I havn't been paid.
Here are emails between myself and them:
"As you know we pay every Friday afternoon and you work a week in hand, so when you sent your time sheet last week, you won’t get paid till this week, i.e. today, as this is the week in hand! We can’t just pay time sheet went you send them in, we would be paying people every day otherwise!!
Your money will be in your account this afternoon!!"
We're have you got it from I expect to be paid on the day the timesheet is handed in? I did not say that nor imply it.
It's now the afternoon and i have not been paid.
"You have been paid, this takes around 2 hours to it your account!

The legal issues around payslips
Section 8 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 says:“An employee has the right to be given by his employer, at or before the time at which any payment of wages or salary is made to him, a written itemised pay statement.”

If you are aware of the law then you know a payslip has to be provided on or before payday. Clearly you have not done this.
I think the issue is your people skills. Several emails have been sent to which you have not replied. It has taken threats of the law to enforce your statuary obligations to receive a reply. Clearly you are inept.
My people skills are fine. I work within the magistrates court dealing with people of all walks of life.
No kindly de register me an hopefully I will not have the misfortune of dealing with you again.

The reason for the none replay is the fact of the all emails were rude and several of them went into the spam folder which I have only just noticed ! apologies

So in summary I was paid late. Did not recieve a payslip. Was told the job was for longer than it actually was.Did not recieve a reply asking for one. Then spent a portion of the day playing insult ping pong with an idiot.
My people skills can't be that bad given that the company that used them have taken me on. Thanks for de registering me ERF now your not entitled to a finders fee :)
