As someone with a lot of job agency experience, this one was exceptionally poor. When I initially registered, the consultant seemed pretty rushed as though I ought to be grateful that I was wasting fifteen minutes of her life. But one thing she asked was how I found other local agencies. When I said that communication was sparse to non-existent with many, she insisted Aston Elite were simply not like that. There would be regular correspondence.

Three years on, they have not called me once - not even to ask if I was still looking for employment. However I called them on one occasion in response to a newspaper advertisement for a telesales marketer. She offensively patronised me for several minutes - "You've never done it before. What makes you think you can do it now?" (Perhaps because I had university education, am in Mensa, and am not stupid?) And then suddenly she thought to say that she couldn't find my details right now because they had recently changed computer systems. When she could, she would ring me back. I thought I would help her out by e-mailing my details right back, but there was still no reply.

So basically she was questioning whether I could do a straightforward career change - but she couldn't do her OWN job properly? Googling now, I see this same lady has become director of Aston Elite in the last year. My question is how?
