I see that someone else has posted a very similar experience to mine. I was finding job-hunting a bit of a struggle after redundancy a few months ago but felt quite hopeful after coming across their website. I have found the whole thing to be a big let-down. They hardly ever contact you but make out that you have been ignoring their emails (as if!) when you get in touch with them. The website promises stuff that doesn't happen either. For instance, they say that once you have registered as a client you will have access to websites but you don't. I have had no evidence of the network they talk about or that you get offered work without even an interview just through the reputation of CV Attached Ltd. And as for the "CV Repair service" well, don't even get me started on that. A 10-year old could put together a more professional-looking document. It seems to me that they accept your money, stay in touch for a few days then that is that. They claim that 97% of their clients get work in a few weeks but I would take this with a large packet of salt judging by the rest of their service.

As the prices seemed reasonable I took the plunge and opted for their all-inclusive service. However, when I got the first draft of my CV back my heart sank. First of all, they had formatted it really badly so it looked like an amateur botched-up job. It was littered with grammar and spelling mistakes and also added "facts" to my jobs and experience which were not even true. I had to get it redone. Some of the changes were quite useful and I ended up putting these into my original CV which I am now using and it is getting me interviews. Ironically, my original CV was getting me interviews but I wanted the complete package for the interview coaching promised, and also because they said they put your CV direct to hiring managers and also know about jobs not advertised. From my experience this is not true. They just send your CV direct (without any of the promised covering letters etc) to employment agencies via jobs boards which you could do better yourself. They also sent their botched version of my CV to recruitment agencies I was already registered with which has caused me some big problems. Moreover, their "team" seems to consist of just one man who deals with everything. Also, the promised interview coaching just consists of sending you a PDF document of interview tips. Again, some of these are quite good but are just the stuff you can find yourself for free on the internet. After a 3 weeks I stopped hearing from them and I politely chased them up for an update. They said I had stopped replying to their emails! I know for a fact they had not sent me any. However, I sent them my alternative email address to use instead, but still nothing. Although they claim to be very different from recruitment agencies, from their incompetence and general dishonesty they seem to be very similar indeed.
