Was looking for work as a Field Engineer, was promised £25k and company car, loads of interesting customers to visit and machines to repair... went to the interview and found it's what they call a "1st Line Helpdesk Field Engineer" where you (and three other engineers) will have to run around Central London looking after their clients (I was told in the interview that if I was fixing a printer and someone wanted me to look at their phone and fix it, I would have to drop what I was doing and fix the phone, then return to fixing the printer. Hours are 9-6, and when I was there the salary dropped to £18K, my countenance dropped from 'slightly interested' to 'stuff this', I asked if there was any field work based from home, the answer was a stern no. The cocky 20something girl interviewing seemed to tire of the interview, and told me "you know where the lift is!" and then left the 'boardroom' and went back to her desk, no doubt to post another vacancy ad to JobServe or Monster...

Office environment seemed rather sombre, so not sure how their actual customer service is, but reviews on Glassdoor (google it!) are less than pleasant about this outfit, and how their actual customers feel....
