Very Bad Company.

In 2015 i had problem with Rent Agency, and I looking for a Lawyer, I meet Seth Lovis for explain all (they ask me immediate 180 pounds, paid also if i have not money for problem with Agency), because I prefer someone to follow it.

Dispute, was around Agency never protect my deposit and put me in problem with room and work, and by Government website i can manage it with free of charge.

When i met Seth Lovis Lawyer, I accept she will follow my dispute, and price will be under 1000 pounds, because i can't pay more, otherwise, i will refuse it.

In may 2017 she wrote me, that she will leave company, and another lawyer will be follow my Dispute, from there, disaster, Seth lovis, lost my proof, documents, video, and pictures, and i need to recover from backup.

New Lawyer Alexander Clarke, from there until now, ask ask me only money, i already paid more of 2400 pounds, without have any resolutions, and already pass 3 years.

Now they ask more of 1500 pounds, when if i follow all alone, will be free of charge.

Conclusion, if you want not waste your time and money, don't give to this company any dispute, they are very unprofessional, and ask only your money.

Read some really good VouchedFor reviews on this lawfirm. Made an enquiry to a highly rated conveyancing solicitor, but my case was referred to another solicitor. I still had high hopes, my solicitor reports to a Partner highly rated on VouchedFor.

The main good point about the experience is that we completed on time. But I have these issues with the solicitor:-

1. The contract and fixtures were not sent for my prior review before exchange. Hence I spotted that certain fittings were not correct. I believe I am missing a cabinet in the bathroom. My hard copy of contract and fixtures are in boxes, and solicitor still hasn't sent me the soft copy.

2. Some questions I had raised to the solicitor, I anticipated were properly asked; but I now realise having moved in were most likely overlooked / ignored.

3. A critical question on building work certification was asked on day of exchange, which was not well received by other parties.

4. Some of the costs were not clearly asked / conveyed. Additional costs at completion and now at registration. Which is the reason for low mark on value for money.

Poor experience total waste of my time, this company cold called me and then I spent two years jumping through their hoops......several times the people who dealt with my case were changed and the only way I was informed was when the emails I received had a different name on it!!!!!!! If they call do not respond......you dont ever get the time back you waste!!!!!!!

My wife and I offered Seth Lovis & Co. an opportunity to sell our apartment then buy for us another one. Believe me, the company offers great and excellent services. The location of the company is easily accessible and their price is affordable. Long live Seth Lovis & Co.

My wife and I instructed Seth Lovis & Co to act on our behalf in the sale of our 1 bedroom flat and the purchase of our 2 bedroom house in July 2011. From start to finish our solicitor was fast and efficient, friendly and always available to take my calls, as was her secretary, which makes a huge difference from being passed from pillar to post.

We both work in central London and liked the fact they have such a central location in Covent Garden.

It was easy to pop in during our lunch hour to sign and read documents.

The price was fine, we got a good service so didn't mind spending a little extra. It worked out at over 75% less than we paid our estate agents, which seems crazy!

My wife recommended a friend to Seth Lovis & Co also to deal with a personal injury case she had at work.

All in all, a really good experience and would defo use again.
