I'm a window cleaner and I've heard good things about Kapre Enterprises canvassing service. Has anybody had any dealings with them?
Don't trust them at all!
They go buy the name of kapreenterprise or kapre clean. Gave me some blag about doing a regular clean every month couple of times a month. As it was only £15 & the outside windows needed cleaning I handed over the cash - never to see him again.
Members of the public are being warned not hand over money to anyone knocking on their door claiming to be a window cleaner collecting money, unless they know it to be genuine.
There have been reports of this type of thing taking place up and down the country.
Police are also appealing to members of the public to come forward if they have been approached by anyone doing this.
They even have a website to make them look authentic!
