Sony Ericsson Spiro

TechRadar consumers gave the Sony Ericsson Spiro mobile phone an average rating of 3 out of 5. Though the rating is not really high, the build quality, low price, ease to use, and decent features all impressed the consumers. But they were not happy that the software crashes, the camera is really poor (just 2 MP), there is an absence of USB cable, the browser is slow and it has a poor sound quality.

The Sony Ericsson Spiro is a low price and perfectly built mobile phone. It comes with media playback like music and videos through the already built-in Walkman software. There is also 3.5mm headphone socket, hands free earphone also comes with a pack. These were some of the things that impressed the buyers, but some were impressed with the modern apps like the web browser, Facebook and twitter in the feature list. Though it has a low internal memory, just 5MB, it can be expanded to 16 MB with a MicroSD card. Some other great features buyers are happy about is the FM radio and the Track ID/ song recognition software, Bluetooth and the USB port through which you can do media transfer.

In the Carphone warehouse review, The Sony Ericsson Spiro was described by consumers at Carphone Warehouse as a stylish but affordable mobile phone that comes with built in Walkman player that you can use to manage your music and some other really cool music features. With the TrackID software, you can get information about any music online. The phone is not just about music. There are many other great apps in it, Facebook, twitter and some others. The slide-out keypad has been well designed for texting. The phone is all about entertainment.

At PC Advisor, the Sony Ericsson Spiro was described as a basic slider phone whose penchant is music. It brings back the memories of the non-touchscreen era. Good looking, unpretentious phone for the budget buyers. The camera may be just 2 MP, connectivity may just be through GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth, but its basic user interface is easy to use and good-looking.
