I just been a few months with talkmobile and I am really surprised with all negative reviews I found here. I transferred my number from other provider with no problems what so ever and all looks good to me. Probably if I read all this feedbacks before I wouldn't choose them. I have got to admit at the beginning of my contract Internet/data was so slow that I was really scared specially compered to my previous one on 4G network. I have read so much about it and I thought it was a really bed decision as I really need Internet connection. Few weeks later everything change and now I get 8 to 9Mbps everywhere. I think they changed something or my phone needed to get use to a new network I don't know but now I am one very happy customers.

This is the worst company in the world regarding customer services.I phoned to ask for my account to be terminated today and the staff was rude, laughing and talking to other person while I was trying to talk to her. They are absolutely appalling. No manners at all. I wanted to terminate my monthly contract just to been told that they will still charge me for another month, although I was 5 days from my current month to end. As I tried to understand why and was still talking, the staff hang up on me and said: goodbye laughing. Never ever again.

I have had my new contract and phone with this company for over a week now and I am still trying to change my number. I have the PAC number from Asda and the number I want to transfer too - Easy oh no. This company has the most terrible foreign call centre I have ever come across. The fob offs are amazing when things dont work. At the moment after about 45 minutes on the phone I have been promised my old number will definitely be transfered over on 29.12.15 - watch this space, of course if it does'nt happen I will be out of the 14 days cool off/cancellation period. I am not holding my breath.

Very frustrating trying to get issues resolved with phone. Tried dulling 5888 customer services several times not even a dialling tone. Had to ring from aniother phone. Had some difficulty understanding the person on the other end. Matter wasn't resolved. Had to ring again - eventually got it working. I intend to leave as soon as I can .

Reading the reviews today at Trustpilot, this seems to be a common practice by Talkmobile with their customers. I purchased a £7 capped monthly contract for my teenage daughters phone at Carphone Warehouse for text/data only last year. This has worked fine for some time when I received a bill in June this year for £270. I immediately contacted Talkmobile to be informed this was due to data download for 72 hours and 0 minutes. My daughter rarely ventures out and the phone stays at home on schooldays. It is mainly used for Instagram/Snapchat with her friends with no gaming or other apps on phone. The phone uses my own home broadband/wifi hence why the £7 cap has not run over in previous months. After heavy discussions, Talkmobile agreed to remove 25% (£77) from bill though still failed to provide any answers to my questions and expected the bill to be honoured. I have realised they have been adding £12 monthly to the unpaid bill hence the £77 is back with interest and Experia confirmed I now have bad credit as Talkmobile reported the default on the bill. I have contacted them this weekend with further questions, all of which they could not answer and still expect the bill to be paid without any evidence. a) Why did the capping service not work? b) Why was there no warning whatsoever on my daughters phone c) What was downloaded. The technology will be there to provide the answers Despite providing no answers nor accept any discrepancies on their behalf, they will not budge and will not close contract until outstanding bill has been paid. This seems to be modern day crime hiding behind a contract to flex their muscle. If a stranger knocked tonight demanding £300 without having to provide any evidence of why you owe them, you would call 999 but it appears I have no choice but to pay the bill for the sake of good credit. I can expect a prompt message informing me how sorry they are and to contact them but given what I have been told twice now I know it will not make any difference if they are unable to answer the questions relative to the complaint. I have obtained the email address for the CEO/owner and considering a formal complaint down that road. Be warned if you are considering this provider.

I ordered an upgraded phone and found it had a fault on the day of delivery which I reported on that day. All I can say is there after sales service, technical support and customer service was so so bad I may as well got a phone from Thorntons. I have spent two and a half months with a phone I cant use and made endless phone calls to Talkmobile, been lied to, fobbed off , even accused of damaging the phone. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I had a contract with talkmobile before and it was very good for the price I was paying. However, after upgrading my contract everything changed. - First they mistakenly delivered my new phone to my previous address and then asked me to go to my previous address (about 300 mile away!) to get the phone! It took about 3 weeks to convince them that I need to have my phone with my home address! - They accepted to pay compensation because of their mistake. I never received it. - Terrible coverage. There are several areas in midlands and south east UK with very poor coverage. There is a coverage in several areas without internet connection. - The delivered phone is SUPER terrible. It started being switched off frequently after a while. Today I missed an important meeting because of that. I would not suggest it at all. It is cheap but believe me it is not worth it.

This was my first upgrade with talkmobile after purchasing the original phone from carphone warehouse (no problems with them) but they no longer deal with talk mobile so you need to go direct to them. Their websit is not easy to navigate (ended up wth two phones). There after sales service is very poor, they don't seem to know what they are talking about and are unhelpful. They tell you to go to a vodaphone shop if you have problems which is false as vodaphone deny any contact to talk mobile. My advice would be go to a highstreet supplier and not this very average company.

Went with them 6 months ago and no end of poor service / signal drops / useless help, and then speak to one country in one department and transferred to someone else in yet another country who you have to explain it all to again. Finally agreed to leave after six months of hell and made an agreement to have the phone unlocked and transfer my no to my new supplier at the end of the deal after 30 days notice and half the contract bill as final payment! Check on progress 3 days before contract finishes as not heard of phone unlocking progress. No record of it,3 different departments later(2 countries)and am told it is now being done but will take 10 days. Get cut off 1 day early no unlocked phone no number to take to new supplier. No Sodding Help at all. Biggest waste of time I have ever had the misfortune of signing up with. (Like working with the Council) No Body knows what they are doing let alone what you have just spent the last 2 hrs arguing over. Do Not Touch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When porting my number in they lost my number for two weeks. Finally resorted Twitter to get a response from someone who could actually help. After being connected for less than a week they cut me off completely. The call centre staff are truly awful, absolutely unable to help and just keep sending you round the same path forever. I have had two days in the last three weeks when I haven't had to speak to them or been waiting for them to call me back. They tried to shot my problem back to the Carphone Warehouse, but they put me on hold for 2 hours and 5 minutes before I gave up and hung up. The problems are still not solved and now need to work out out get away from them in the next day or so. I can't work without my mobile and these people are costing me a lot of money.

On Monday went to carphone warehouse to upgrade talk mobile contract, had to come home and do it over the phone. This was ok, got the phone ordered and due to come the following day. On Tuesday didn't get a text in the morning so phoned talk mobile to track it only to find out it wouldn't be coming until Wednesday as order not processed in time !! So organised for someone to be at home Wednesday only to find I still didn't get a text saying it had been des patched !! So I phoned again to be told very apologetically that the order hadn't been processed but defiantly would be with me Thursday. Apon request I got compensation (a months free line rental.) We waited in Thursday and it did arrive but when I opened it I found it was black and not the white one I ordered. I didn't want to risk sending it back incase I had to wait another three days. Really good contract deal just ashamed about the service. iPhone 4s

I had 2 year's contract with talkmobile ,15pounds for 300 mins per month, for the first a few month, they charge me 40 pence/minute for extra mins which was hidden, I paid more than 100pounds for about 500 mins,I ask and ask again, the staff said it was 40 pence/mins.it is so hard to get rid of the contract, I email and talk to them said: "I lost my phone and didn't need the service any more''they keep charging me another 6 months.....

Put up price of tariff during contract with no way to cancel. No way of capping spending limit. Now as I rang to give notice to end my contract I was told you can only give exactly 30 days notice i.e. if you give say 45 days notice as I was doing you will be charged a fee? I have never had this from any other company I have been contracted to . Usually 30 days is a minimum not an exact figure ! Smells to me like they hope you'll forget on he day and get you for at least an extra month. I don't rate this company for service or connection quality and now they are making it difficult to get rid AVOID !!

I originally went with Talkmobile because I thought that I would recieve a cheap contract. I have currently had my contract for 7 months and I have paid double the amount I should actually pay 7 times in a row!! You never get updated when you are about to use up all your data and it says that it takes 3 hours to update when you ring them up to find out how much data you have used...that is such a lie more like 3 days!! The customer service is shocking...they tell you minimal information and they are not helpful at all. They will do anything they can to get as much money as possible for you! I am definitely cancelling my contract with them. Stick to the generic ones like O2 and Orange, you may have to pay a little extra but you get what you pay for definitely!!

We got our daughter a mobile phone on contract for her birthday in August.she only uses the phone in school holidays. Somehow an unscrupulous company called XINION got her number and sent her a TEXT MESSAGE to see if she wanted to win an Iphone5 or ipad? Being 9 she replied 'yes'not fully understanding that since then, 31st October (The phone has been switched from then till Christmas) they have been texting her day by day, week by week to the tune of nearly £100.The text messages are £1.25 each. Talk Mobile have said "Tough" its a 3rd party and has to be paid! They wont say how they got my daughters number but considering there are no games etc on the phone I am very sceptical and have involved Phone Pay Plus. SO FOR ALL THE PARENTS OR OTHERS THINKING OF USING TALK MOBILE- DONT! THEY WILL TAKE MONEY ON XINIONS BEHALF FROM YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOU KNOWING AND WITHOUT HESITATION. THE LAST PERSON I SPOKE TO CALLED KIERAN SAID I SHOULD KEEP A CLOSER EYE ON MY BANK ACCOUNT!!!!

Absolutely rubbish customer service, cancelled my contract in April 13 and then received letter in Aug saying I owe £100 called them and they promised to sort but its now Jan 14 and I've just opened a letter from debt collectors. Stay away, their deals may be cheep but if you have a problem then don't expect a quick resolution :(
