Lidl Smoked Salmon

Lidl has a wide range of products and is fairly priced in comparison. excellent consistency I'm quite pleased.

Visited our newly opened Lidl Superstore, saw some smoked salmon at a good price, so I thought I would treat myself and have some for my sandwiches, glad I did, it was the best I have tasted, good smokey flavour and a nice 'creamy' texture. Normaly, when I have made my sandwiches there is enough left for another day, not this time, it was so good I had to eat all of it, it would have been a shame to put it back in the fridge.

I bought the smoked salmon because it was recommended in the Sunday Times. I was very disappointed and will never purchase again. It just tasted like raw fish , no evidence of any subtlety or smoking . Unless it was just a bad batch . But I will not be trying it again .

Smoked salmon from LIDL with it's different sauces is excellent, both in value and in taste, much nicer than some of the larger supermarket. I especially love the one with Dill sauce. It is great with salads, in sandwiches and rolls. I love it's colour, texture, as well as the taste.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this smoked salmon. Not at all slimy, mild taste, great texture, colour and slice thickness.

So, so good and such a good price - way better and way cheaper than other UK supermarkets.

Even my fussy wife who is snooty about smoked salmon absolutely loves this. Apparently a lot of top caterers use it for events too.

We go out of our way to pick this up!
