Good Choice
I had gone lately for my anniversary lunch meal and can only state that this place is extraordinary, Celeste, flavorsome, charming. There doubtless aren't enough adjectives to go into detail this places altesse.we were treated to starters, mains and desserts and all four folks had almost nothing to complain about, for our neighbors, that says a lot and we were still discussing with regards to how good it was this morning. Our cashier was talkative and discussed his sentiment on the menu that is something I quite definitely value and the chef turned out to communicate to us that may be something If only more places would do while it shows an interest and appreciation belonging to the customers.Service was friendly and experienced too. A wine was recommended to fit the dishes we had chosen and bread, butter and water was proferred rapidly.Mains included many different dishes, I don't recall what everyone had as most of us started sharing food which includes a delighted promiscuity. To get perfectly honest, I suppose this can be my new favourite restaurant.
Yummier Than Wahaca
I'm a big fan of mexican food, both the Tex-Mex cliched mexican food we've had to live with in UK for years and the new 'real' mexican street food peddled by the awesome Wahaca. Modern Mexican restaurants are now springing up everywhere.
Lupita is my favourite to date. It's situated on the little road between Charing Cross and Embankment. The decor is a kind of cool but casual affair and it has a nice balance between cantina and chic.
The food is incredible - from the fresh salsas to the tasty burritos and tapas style food, I've not had a bad mouthful of food in 3 visits and neither have my friends.
The service is pretty good and only slips when they are very busy.
The only disappointments are the toilets absolutely stinking of damp (not very appetising!) and watching/smelling them carry the rubbish past you to the bins which are just by the window outside (even less appetising!). This is only an issue if you get a seat in the back room.
Overall this is my fave Mexican restaurant in London. Go enjoy!!
