Nether Winchendon House, Nr Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

We got married in Bledlow Chruch and then our guests made there way back to the Oxford Belfry were we supplied a coach to and from Neher Winchendon House. The staff at Nether Winchendon worked with everyone to ensure this ran very smoothly. The grounds are amazing and we hired the terrace for our reception drinks which on a sunny day like we had, worked our perfectly. I was worried about the sound limit for the barn but this ended up not being a concern and we had everyone dancing round the barn till the end. We stayed in the bridal cottage after doing a procession to leave our guests and the coaches arriving...it was so speacial. The bridal cottage was so romantic and I just would not swap anything about the day. If in doubt, just book it, because with a little bit of effort you can ceate a day just for you two, individual, not like a hotel!!

Nether Winchendon House is amazing! We got married here and loved every minute of it. The venue allow you to use caterers of your choice, the don't charge corkage and are very supportive on the day and in the run up. The grounds are beautiful too, beautiful flowers, large lawn and a river running along the end of the garden. The bridal cottage is a lovely place to get ready and wake up in the morning after.

The barn has a separate dance area and bar and it has a garden next to it for children to play in. There is a church a minute's walk away where we had our ceremony.

Highly recommended! I could not fault this place and would love to do it all over again!

Nether Winchendon House has a very relaxed approach, no pushy follow up calls or unwanted correspondence. It is a family run business that really make you feel like the day is entirely yours.

I booked the very romantic Bridal Cottage for the days in the run up to my wedding so I was on site to ensure that all the preparations were going according to plan. They also allowed us to use the caterer of our choice, which made a huge difference to the overall cost.
