Crewe Hall, Cheshire

Our store department christmas meal was on the 7th of December, and we had a great night. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink and waited to be seated in the Continental suite. The 3 course meal was lovely, well worth the price, the waiting on staff and bar staff were friendly. The entertainment was amazing, magic when done close up is on another level, then the DJ was great - we didnt stop dancing. Eventually he apologised for not being able to play anymore tunes and we reluctantly left.. :)

All in all, a fantastic night...

staff at reception very helpful bar staff have not got a clue they think they are doing you a favour by serving you and the security staff are a disgrace no idea how to deal with residents/customers. We found them to be intimidating to guest it seemed the security staff were trying to provoke residents/guests by their attitude in order for the security staff to call the police to end the party early. This is an honest and truthful account of our experience with a wedding reception held recently at Crewe Hall not one person from 200 in attendance would ever recommend to friends holding another party at Crewe Hall.

Lovely surroundings and impeccable service, my hubby and I enjoyed a really lovely afternoon here for Afternoon Tea. Go for the works - it is such a delight and a real treat. It does cost a bit but it is a special afternoon out, starting off with the little glass of sherry as a digestive. Something out of another era. The sandwiches and cakes were lovely and you can get your tea refilled. I could do this more often and will certainly bring visitors from overseas for a touch of old England.

i have just returned from crewe hall - 5 girls on a spa weekend :)

lovely break in lovely enviroment but not so relaxing it was very busy so we, had very strict appointment times, and treatments where cut short due to time checking in etc.... also teh pool area was hectic could hardly fit evrybody in :(

also the rooms all seem to be in a new building at the back of teh hall so you miss all the old charm of the main house, rooms also very cold i seen sevral guests with heaters - this said the staff soon brought extra blankets and heaters to our room on request.

the brassarrie was lovely and staff very helpfull - food nice and a sprecial birthday candle in my pudding :)

was a lovely stay................just wish we had more time to relax would visit again but just book in advance so we could be more flexible with appts....

Crewe Hall, Cheshire is a nice big place. Would go again. Was a bit cold and dark inside the entrance part but other parts of the building were fab. Especially the big hall which you got to using the glass walk way.

Used Crewe Hall, Cheshire, for a large conference recently. Good location. We received the invoice after the event, and numerous 'extras' had appeared on there. Also, one of our party had left a few items behind, and it took nearly three weeks to get a response as to whether they had been found (which incidentally, they hadn't).

Crewe Hall in Cheshire was the perfect place for my daughters wedding.The venue, food, staff and accommodation were first rate. I cannot praise the place enough.

we booked delux guest room but thought it was very small had large bed and two arm chairs it probably only 15 by 14 size room and we did not get the bath robes which they said they supplied.

nice place but was disappointed with the staff as they seemed to have an attitude towards anyone who was mr average. I also found the breakfast to be overcooked.

We got married at Crewe Hall in January 2008 and cannot fault the venue (aside from its Grade I listed status causing unavoidable repairs to the exterior!). From the word Go the staff were incredibly helpful and patient and on the day they really came into their own with excellent service and support.

When you're planning your wedding, to be able to have complete faith in the understanding and support of the venue's staff is so important - the team at Crewe Hall left other venues' teams in the shadows.

Our guests all commented on how beautiful the venue was, the excellent quality of the food and drink and how helpful the staff were.

Aside from a few very small niggles, which I must add were swiftly sorted out, our wedding planning and the day itself could not have been better and we would wholeheartedly recommend Crewe Hall as a great venue whatever the occasion.
