The Otley Chevin Country Park Hotel Is A Fantastic

The Otley Chevin Country Park Hotel is a fantastic place to plan your wedding.

My wedding day hasn't happened yet, but all the planning up to now has been a breeze. Sue and Laura (wedding coordinators) are supportive, dedicated and will bend over backwards to help you plan your big day.

My experience with them has been an excellent one. We visited over 20 venues in and around Leeds. From Walton Hall, right through to Hazlewood Castle. This was the venue we adored because they helped us to plan the wedding that we wanted, and not a wedding that they wanted us to have!

I've never lost confidence with them. They are completely transluscent with their pricing so you know exactly what you are getting. They are not cheap, but they are worth every penny of your wedding savings and will try to deliver the wedding you dream of.

They have woodland and a lake and its a gorgeous location!

I can't fault them and I have every confidence that my wedding is going to be a wonderful one.

Just go have a look if you're in doubt, we were hooked from the moment we stepped through the door. (cosy, unpretentious and perfect.) I can only assume that Holly Holly's wedding was ruined by her guests and not the hotel! I'm not sure that if I left gifts out anywhere in public, that they'd still be there when I got back!

We Can't Finally Review This Yet As The Wedding Ha

We can't finally review this yet as the wedding hasn't taken place. However, the organisation, flexibility, courtesy and service so far cannot be faulted. Even when we turned up 'on spec' to sort out some fine details, a member of staff spent over an hour with us and all our queries were answered efficiently and staff were very helpful in finding solutions for us. If the actual event goes as well as the prior arrangements, it will be a fantastic day!

Can't Believe What Hollyholly Was Going On About.

Can't believe what hollyholly was going on about. I was a guest at a wedding and though it was really well organised, and everything ran very smoothly on the day. But then again, some people use the internet to moan because they have nothing better to do.

I Went To Look Around The Chevin Country Park Hote

I went to look around the Chevin Country Park Hotel with my fiance as a possible venue for our own wedding. Given the way we were treated we didn't book, and we are now being treated like royalty as we plan our wedding at an alternative venue.

We Visited The Chevin Country Park Hotel For A Fam

We visited the Chevin Country Park Hotel for a family wedding.

The hotel is set in its own grounds, which is lovely for the wedding photos.

The hotel is definitely in need of re-decoration; graffiti was spotted on one of the walls which wasn't nice.

The wedding ceremony was held in the hotel - the hotel must have miscounted chairs, so there weren't enough for everyone, and they were too close together which made it harder getting in and out.

During the reception and the main course, the service was slow. There was a long gap in between giving the meat out then the veg.

The night time buffet table was empty within 20 minutes of putting it out, and it wasn't refilled, therefore very small portions per head.

The security of the hotel is very bad, as later on in the night all the money and gifts were stolen from all the wedding cards.

At 12 the bar had closed, but still served for residents. One member of the family who had a room wanted to be served, and the bar staff were very rude to them, and wouldn't believe that they were residents. They eventually got served after a lot of messing them around. After they were allowed to get the drinks on their room bill, they were then told that they had to pay cash there and then.

Later that night one of the bar staff made very rude comments about the bride in her dress.

I am glad I am not having my wedding there.
