Just set up my wedding list with this company - emailed to get some technical help and got no response so was a bit suspicious. Looked up the directors and the company on Companies House and "thegiftlistcompany.com limited", director Michael Bourne, was dissolved in Jan 2013.

However the website seems to be still up & running and accepting new customers.

I'm moving my list!!!

My hubby and I are guests at wedding in one month and I have tried four times to get onto web site over last 2 weeks without success. When I put in the ID number and password given to me by the bride and groom, it appears to think I am the bride and ask me to choose the gifts I want! I have sent email to help desk |(no telephone helpline) and they have not been any help at all and just tell me to heed a warning regarding 2pop up blocker" which I know nothing about! Can anyone out there help me please

I was a bit dubious about using a company I'd never heard of before, especially after hearing about the Wrapit fiasco, but since this company dont sell any products or take any money off you other than an optional upgrade fee it seemed we had nothing to loose. I can honestly say, this is not just a brilliant website to use, the support and customer service was refreshingly good too and lots of our friends and family commented how great they thought it was too. What we really like was the fact we could put a few bits and bobs on our list from niche retailers we could also add and a landscaping fund that our guests could contribute towards. We were able to pay for planting and decking for our garden, in our view the best wedding present ever.
